This is the second time buying a roll of this tape. Once for my car, now my brothers car It is 100% necessary when wrapping your car. Extremely easy to use. Perfect lines. One roll goes a long way! Highly recommend! Worth every penny!

Good product. Works well when correctly handled and used. 1 star off because it could definitely have a bit more adhesion to prevent being pulled up by vinyl when laying film over it then releasing, but still very functional. Pro tip: alllllllways leave plenty extra length to ensure u can get a solid grip before pulling to cut. Ask me how I know🙄

I bought this to do a chrome delete on my car and I had zero experience using it beforehand. TL:DR: It works well, but you have to have patience and consider some things like placement. Take your time, breathe, and think about what you're doing. I would recommend this. It can take a while to place this tape properly. You'll want to extend the tape at least a few inches beyond the wrap so that you can grab it easily. When you're getting ready to start pulling to make the cut, it helps if you hold down on the vinyl so that it doesn't start to peel back and/or bunch up, because it might cause the string in the tape to break if you have to pull too hard. If that happens, you either have to redo it or pull from the other side. Take the time to apply this properly. I tried to put it down a few millimeters from the actual edge of where I wanted the cut. This allowed the wrap to shrink down to the right size when I applied heat to it. You might have to apply some of the green portion over parts that you are intending to wrap in order to get the string where you want it, and that's fine. Just remember that after you pull the string, to remove the green leftover part of the tape from underneath the wrap on the car before you apply heat to it. Going around sharp corners can be tough, like on U-shaped pieces of trim. On the first side of the vehicle, I skipped using the tape because I didn't think I could get it to work right in the corner, so I had to cut it with a knife, which was terrible. So on the second side, I used the tape, and it ended up tearing the wrap a little to which I had to apply a small, almost unnoticeable patch. Overall, I would definitely recommend this. It helps you avoid using a knife for cutting the wrap (or your trim).

We do an insane amount of wrapping at my shop, at least 2-3 cars a week. Some parts of a car are difficult to freehand, which is where this knifeless tape comes in so handy. I can lay it down perfectly straight and know that it will cut through the vinyl seamlessly. It's come in handy for wrapping door jambs, bumpers, and other areas where a knife in hand simply can't fit. We've gone through packs of these in the years that we've been in business and I can honestly say that 3M knows what they're doing, both with vinyl and tools. This 50 meter roll goes fast in our shop, but it's something we're constantly restocking due to its high quality and ease of use. Sticks to the car very strongly and has been a lifesaver in many situations. Definitely will be buying quite a few more of these in the near future.

See photo. Used on blackout of window trims and entire silver roof rack rails which came out pretty nice. It was my first time doing vinyl wrap so it wasn’t perfect. Tape quality is great and product is OEM. Slightly better price than other vendors. I need more experience to do more detailed designs but recommend you practice with it first with some scrap materials. Functioned just as I needed it to.
