Does this set have any work cards with it?

No work cards, comes with an information leaflet enclosed.

On the first day of playing with this one of the pieces cracked. Can you please replace the broken piece without is having to return the whole thing?

Wow I used this in my 120 place nursery for 10 + years and never had any complaints. This is sad to read this. Want to buy a set for my 3 year old nephew. Unsure now......disappointing x

does it come in a bucket?

No but don't let that put you off. Buy it and get a big container because you'll want to buy more packs. It is the best construction toy I've come across next to Lego. Children of all ages love it and happily play alongside each other. My grandson is playing with his at this very moment. Him and Grampy built 5 fire trucks yesterday and he's playing with them again now.

When I have bought different packs, they arrive just in a throw-away plastic sealed bag - you need to then have a 'special' box to put it in to keep their 'treasured items' safe!
