Ice Auger System, 6"

The K-Drill is AWESOME! I used it for the first time on January 19, 2019. Here is my only issue and I just mention this as a caution to others. The title says "K-Drill 6" Auger Only. It has a nice picture of the auger and doesn't show the cover. It mentioned other items that people have purchased when buying the auger and it showed a nice, orange cover. I thought, that would be a necessary item, so I placed it in my shopping cart. I purchased the two items and then waited. The auger showed up in a box first. I opened it and it already included a cover for the blades. A few days later the $30 cover I purchased showed up. I will need to return the cover and pay shipping. I again looked at the item description to see if I was mistaken. It said Auger only and in product description it said only one item included. That's what I went with when I ordered the cover. I did notice, after all of this, that there was a question about if it included a cover. The answer was "yes" it does include a cover. Well, too late for that. Anyway, the drill is awesome but I wish it would have been more clear from the get go.

Great auger. Used the m2603 with a 4amp battery got about 25 to 30 holes fast through 8-10in when everything was warm. Noticed that the drill slowed down a bit after 6 hours in 25 deg temps still cut great just a tad slower and also drilled less holes. I think a small cooler with a hand warmer in will fix that problem.Would recommend this to anyone. Had no problem using a flasher in the hole and pulling up fish as well. I have a fl12 but slid the float up and out of the hole

This thing works. I use it with the 1/2" DeWalt drill with the 60v battery. I can drill endless holes, 50+ in 24" of ice. Between the way the auger cuts and the power of the drill, it works great. Raced an ion once, they had no chance. I recommend this auger with the DeWalt 60v drill.

After several fishing trips this year, the k-drill has exceeded my expectations. Extremely lightweight, but very strong. Your experience with the k-drill will be heavily influenced by the rechargeable drill you pair it with. I use a 20volt Dewalt with 5amp batteries, and it’s worked great. Other drills of comparable power and torque I’m sure will perform well with the k-drill.

This is a wonderful product, I am an older fisherman with my best days behind me!! handling my old 8" gas powered auger was getting hard to handle, and discouraged me from going ice fishing as often. With the ease of the KDrill and how light it is I believe I will continue to ice fish for many more years to come, also the floating feature is awesome, and it reopens old holes faster and easier than my 8" Great Job KDrill company !!!!Brian Markham- Age 60

I wondered why anyone would pay that price for an ice auger. Until i used one. Went home that nite and ordered one. Best purchase for an auger i have ever made. Just make sure you get a good drill

It’s super light. Awesome for me for early and late ice when walking out. Make sure you have a decent battery though.
