Needed supplies to clean out the fish tank. Amazon was cheaper than our pets store. The shipping was very fast. Our fish tank looks so much better. It’s so clear. Great product.

I have 2 of the 6 gallon cube aquariums for my Bettas and I set them up exactly the same, on the same day ... but the tank on the left became cloudy so I ordered this stuff. Note the tank on the right is perfectly clear (the deep tan walls behind it make it look darker than it really is) This is 14 hours later and it appears to have ruined my 6 gal cube aquarium by causing a white bloom/blossom all over the tank?UPDATE: Manufacturer emailed me to say that I needed a filter on my tank, which I did not have. I did a 3/4 water change, removing most of the white dibris, and it's almost clear now.

First off, I thought this was a normal water clarifier, ie, one that could be used every 24 hours to help clear water after a water change, adding new live plants, adding substrate. This water clarifier is not for that at all. It's supposed to be used once a month only. It also says on the bottle to be careful to not use too much because too much of it is dangerous for whatever you're keeping in your aquarium. Which is not a comforting thought. Also trying to figure out the proper dosing is incredibly frustrating and almost impossible. I currently have a 20 gallon tank with one axolotl, and my other tank is only 10 gallons with a 5 betta fish female sorority colony. The directions on the bottle say "Add 5ml for each 100lt (27 gallons) of aquarium water." Then it goes on to say "15 drops is 1ml and the cap is 7ml". Now trying to sit there and figure out how many ml I need to add to both of my tanks is very difficult, and the amount is so tiny in the end. It doesn't even convert to any type of teaspoon size. Even trying to carefully add only one drop doesn't work because the drops just pour out of the bottle. I would never ever recommend this product to anyone, and I'm never buying it ever again. Before this I bought a type of water clarifier from API, and that's what I highly suggest anyone else to buy. This is a huge waste of money, unless you're someone who has a very large aquarium, such as 50+ gallons or more. For smaller aquarium owners, don't buy this!

Liked that it doesn't start with a cloudy haze. Works fast, fish were fine. Priced cheaper than the API accu-clear I used for years. Will be switching over to Crystalpro. (Ten gallon,used 4-5 drops. ) Cleared in two hours.
