Reliable PoE Extender – Great Value!
Works perfectly for gigabit internet! I’m using a PoE injector from my router to power this switch, and it delivers over 900Mbps across my entire upstairs. Setup was completely plug and play, making it super easy to use with no hassle. It doesn’t seem to have any advanced controls for managing individual ports, but I wouldn’t expect that from a simple plug-and-play PoE extender. For what it is, it does the job perfectly. It’s also completely silent—I have it hidden in a wall cavity, and I’ve noticed no heat or noise issues. For the price, I couldn’t find many alternatives that perform this well, so I’d highly recommend it!

Great speeds. No discernable difference in speeds to directly connected.
Great device. Works as expected. See photos for individual speed tests on both PC1 and PC2, then with a remote desktop on PC2 with PC1 in the foreground, showing them both using Speed Test, sharing the same speed 1Gb fibre connection. No noticeable difference from being directly connected to separate LAN ports.Next photos are a file transfer between PC1 & PC2 which are both plugged into the device.PC1 NVMe file share -> PoE Extender Port 1 -> PoE Extender Port 2 -> NVMe drive PC1Speed varies between 108MB/s-113MB/s (mega bytes per second), which is pretty much equivalent to the 1Gb network connection when separately plugged into my switch (113MB x 8bits in a byte = 905Mb/s).Last photo is Reolink Cameras 4k both working and powered up, along with a PC connected. My use case is to add ports at a different location where there is only 1 CAT6a cable, but I wanted to run a test bed where I could compare. No, this is not a review for a free device (i wish it was)Very happy with it.

Great, but not IP66 water resistant
No issues with the functionality of this, made adding more CCTV cameras to my system easy. But I'm not confident that it's actually IP66 rated. I put it inside an electronics box with glands to protect it and have not had any issues.

Excellent product - easy to use.
Brilliant. I didnt evem know these things existed but they have saved me a lot of money and effort in trying to run power into areas. I needed to cable an outbuilding and this has been brilliant. Was able to run multiple cables and provide wired connection to a couple of locations. Lightweight, easy to set up and quality seems good. Excellent product.

A easy way to add an extra 2 cameras using the one cable from the nvr.
This is a simple way to add extra camera's without running extra cables all the way back to the network recorder.I was just about finished fitting my camera system when I thought about fitting a camera to the rear of my sheds there have been a few case's of people breaking into sheds in my area even though it had not happened to me (so I thought?) But when a friend told me his shed had been broke into so I took a look at the rear of mine and noticed that someone had been trying to pull off some of the rear boards from one of mine I was lucky that I paid extra and had it built with extra thick boards which are 25mm thick and a 50mm x 75mm frame which do not move that easy, when I first noticed it I had extra screws put in which I had the cross where you put the screwdriver in drilled out so they cannot be unscrewed.I then fitted a camera inside each of the sheds plus I had 2 fitted to my chimney stack which look down and cover my whole property, using these waterproof network switches makes adding extra cameras to your system so much easier. I put up a review of the reolink 16 times pan tilt and zoom cameras and attached pictures showing how good the zoom is and they go via one of these switches I cannot see any difference between using a direct cable and connecting via one of these switches it can save having to run extra cables all the way back to your recorder.

Very Good PoE Switch
I needed to add an extra Hikvision PoE CCTV to our network without going to the trouble of routing an extra cable all the way through our house. This device allowed me to achieve that very easily.

Two bought one good one not so good
Bought two of these for use with poe cctv cameras to minimise the number of holes to be drilled through walls. One has worked fine, the other seems to have a habit of setting all the cameras on it to the same ip so one gets three identical views from one camera instead of three different views from three cameras. I then have to change the ips back manually.Aside from that all one has to do is plug in the ethernet cables and it is good to go
