This is just gorgeous nevermind that it also has a function. It does leave a slight gap on the Gaggia basket a perfect fit would be a 58.4mm.Has a good weight to it and the curved base helps prevent suction. Great price and choice for first purchase

Excellent build quality. It feels lovely and weighty in the hand. Perfectly fits the 58mm basket of a Gaggia Classic.Also, the surface of the steel tamper has small concentric grooves which allow a very smooth action when rotating against the grounds. I find this creates a smoother more solid puck, and therefore better espresso.

You can tell it's a classic as it's a joy to use. Not overly heavy or long and the chamfer enables you to feel the rim of the basket while tamping in order to get a level tamp.

Excellent for this price. I have owned more expensive ones that did not work better. I now prefer using flat tampers, but this one is a good and simple tamper

This temper is just the right weight and the end is nicely rounded so I have no problem pressing my full weight into it the base is made with top quality stainless steel buy one and put a smile on your face like i did.

This tamper looks wonderful and does a good job too. The stainless steel base is beautifully turned and has a satisfying weight in the hand. The dark wooden handle feels nice and firm. )Overall, good value for a very pleasing object.
