Works perfect for ironing fabrics
I'm a quilter and have never purchased a wool mat before and I finally did. The first one I bought was awful so I was hesitant to purchase another one, but I did. This one works great....when ironing on it, the fabrics are smooth and flat, unlike using an ironing board. The only thing I didn't realize (which I should have) was that it is an interlocking one and I have no idea how those would work. But knowing that, the next one I purchase will work with this one so I can iron bigger blocks.

Ease of adding additional pressing pads
This was exactly what I wanted. Adding additional pressing pads is a plus.

Great pad
This is a great pad, it’s only one panel but great for smaller spaces and quick ironing. It’s thick so no worries about anything under neath

O lisp multi mat
Great product, excellent quality. I purchased the 14. X 14 mat to replace my table top ironing board. Works perfectly for smaller cuts of fabric.

Nice mat for ironing while quilting
It’s a good size and works well when quilting. I can have my iron right next to my sewing machine and go directly to it when I finish a seam. Nice quality and has the ability to add another to increase the size.

Great for travel or crafting.
I’m learning how to sew, but not to make clothes; instead, I want to make more crafty items like bags, pouches, tarot cloths, table napkins, etc. Fortunately for me, there is a nearby charity that sells donated items for crafts from a huge spectrum of interest from knitting to leather craft to metalworking (think welding). The building is huge so they allow volunteers to give informal classes/instruction when they’re open. You just drop in with your project, set up a station (they have sewing machines for the class but encourage you to bring your own if possible), and flag down an instructor. They have ironing boards at the exchange, but I Iike to be as self-sufficient as possible and bring what I need if possible. I have a tabletop ironing board for crafting because most of my items don’t require that much space, but I don’t want to take that to the class. I had planned to make a travel ironing board eventually, but then I learned about the existence of these wool ironing pads.(TL;DR) This wool pad is nice and thick and made of a dense wool. As long as they’re on a stable surface, they will provide the right amount of firm cushioning needed to facilitate your ironing/pressing. The only potential downside to wool pads is that if they’re not manufactured to avoid it, they can let off a strong smell when the moisture from steam and the heat of an iron is applied to them. I really have to be careful about this since the exchange is in a public space in a large building. I haven’t had that issue with this pad.

LOVE LOVE THIS MAT
I love this mat. The thickness is perfect and in time I will add on since it gives me that possibility.I have read that some people hated the smell, well i guess they have never eaten New Zealand Lamb, which i have and it is the exact smell. I care less of the smell as it's to be expected it's from NZ sheep.I my opinion this is well made and highly recommend it.

Awesome Product!
This is terrific! Size is great for small pressing jobs (eg when sewing). I am using it right on a table and the heat doesn't transfer through and harm the table (although I would not use it on a fancy table). I just ordered a second because I can see myself using these in place of an ironing board. Highly recommended!
