Good quality keyboard
I got this keyboard as a quieter alternative to my mechanical one. It connected no issue to my tablet and my PC. It's quiet, extremely slim and compact. There's no noticeable lag and for smaller hands it's very easy to write on. Battery also lasts for a very long time.

Quite impressive
If you're looking for a good wireless keyboard that's small, light and well built, then this is a good place to start.Size: It's pretty small, as you can see from the image it's very slim, with a slight larger bit at the top to house the battery and give the keyboard a slight lean angle. The other image from the top down shows that may pen is about half the length of the keyboard, so pretty small, but definitely not too small, at least for me. I can type on it pretty freely with very few errors.Build quality: Quite impressed for the money, I mean if I really wanted to I could break it, but while in my bag it survived going back and forth to work and home, especially as it has no case. The top is a matte black plastic which is fairly sturdy and underneath is a high shine metal which does come over to the front at the bottom, this, to me at least, gives it the feel of high quality and sturdiness. I have had the keyboard for around 4 months, and so far it's looks near brand new so no issues on build quality.Battery: The battery so far has been absolutely fine, haven't had to recharge it yet, there is slider switch underneath which lets you turn it off to help save the battery. What I quite like about this to other wireless keyboards I looked at was, for the price, I had a rechargeable battery, no longer would I need to keep buying and replacing the battery, as soon as the battery dies (whenever that happens) I can use the cable provided (micro USB to USB A) to connect to the laptop and charge it and use it at the same time, easy.Connectivity: The connectivity and accuracy of it was more than capable of what I needed it for, typing for emails and documents throughout a working day in an office. It comes with a Bluetooth dongle USB A which went straight into my laptop, I turned the keyboard on and bam it worked straight away. What I will say is that this is the only area I had an issue with, several weeks ago the keyboard stopped working, which was weird as it had worked all morning till after lunch. Upon some thorough testing by myself I believed it to be the BT dongle having an issue as it would receive my typing but open windows and other things instead. I therefore emailed Arteck and they agreed with my assessment and gave me a code to get another one for free, excellent customer service. And so far nothing wrong with this one since.Design: I must admit I do tend to go towards things that look quite good. This keyboard has a simple design, everything you need and nothing more. The keys are a shallow design, much like a laptop keyboard, which I prefer typing on. In terms of keys I have 2 issues (though I knew this when buying so can't really say this as a negative) I miss the numerical keypad as I input a fair chuck of numerical data, and the other thing was the placement of the hash key, just above the enter key, I keep accidentally hitting the hash key which is a little annoying.Overall this has been a great purchase for me, I hate wires and convinced that we will eventually go wireless at some point in the future. High accuracy key input. Barely any thought about setup. Highly recommend.

A keyboard to consider
I was getting ready to type something and get used with this keyboard, and thought I could make it a review. For the moment I find it rather small and if I don’t look at it when typing I’m making a lot of spelling mistakes. Hopefully, in time it’ll get better. I can’t say the keys are noisy, but can’t say they’re silent as well. My laptop’s keyboard is dead silent, so when comparing them, I find this one quite noisy. But, if you compare it with a keyboard from 2010, this one will seem the best keyboard ever. I like the design, it’s slim and ergonomic and the finishes on the back gives you the impression of a high end device, but as soon as you touch it, you realise it isn’t, but gets close to it (around 70%). It communicates great with the laptop and I didn’t have any problems pairing it, you just plug it in, turn it on and magic. For the price I’ve paid at the moment £19.99, it does a great job, but I think it is a bit overpriced (that’s the reason for the 4 stars), if it would’ve been a bit cheaper, somewhere around the mark of £15, it would’ve been a 5 star buy. A good thing is that it has an integrated battery, so you don’t need to have a reserve of batteries in your house. I can’t say anything about durability or battery life as these were my first 5 minutes with the keyboard. I have also noticed that sometimes, some of the letters don’t work when you press them gently, so it will require a second, harder push, but this doesn’t happen all the time. Altogether, it does a good job and can say it’s a good value for money, at this moment.

Smart reliable keyboard at good price
I have a Jelly Comb rechargeable wireless keyboard which I have been using for the past 3 years but the shift key has become dodgy despite efforts to clean it by air-blasts and suction. That said, the keyboard has served well.I looked on Amazon for a replacement. I found the Arteck keyboard. It is almost identical. (One often finds that the same design sells under many brand names.) Price was good. Features all as wanted. And also, same key layout and spacing as I am used to, with the keyboard taking up the same amount of space on my desk. So a very easy transition. It is a very smart looking unit. It feels solid. It is heavy enough, and has non-slip feet, such that it sits where it is put, and does not slide around. I charged it up, and got it working very easily. It is not Bluetooth, which to me is a big plus, as there is no fiddly Bluetooth setup, just plug in the dongle in a spare USB port.As I tried out the keyboard, I discovered a key at the right edge of the keyboard did not register every time it was pressed. I was disappointed. However, after a few hours using the keyboard, this problem went away, and I find the keyboard overall is totally reliable.I have hearing problems but I can still hear a sound from the keyboard as I press keys. Curiously this noise goes away if I rest a finger quite gently on the very front edge of the keyboard unit, which I presume is enough to stop some sort of flexing or vibration. But I am not bothered by the noise, and it is not enough to upset anyone else.I am a heavy user (I mean many hours per day, not hitting it hard). I expect this keyboard to last as long as its very similar (but differently branded) predecessor.Lastly, the ergonomics: I use the '|' character a lot so it is a nuisance that it requires using the Fn key. However, when I looked at keyboard layouts on Amazon, a very high number of them use pretty much the same layout, so this is par for the course. And as I hate Caps Lock keys and always map them to do nothing, I instead chose to map it to the '|' key.If you are interested in mapping keys, install Microsoft Power Toys, which has a keyboard mapping feature that I find very useful. As for the obvious question of "does it have a '£' key", the answer is yes, because it has UK layout, an important selling point, one to always check.
