Revell RC Flying Cager Infra Red 3-Channel with Gyro

I first came across the Fly Ball Cager at an exhibition put on by the Beaufort Model Flying Club last year when one of my four my grandsons enjoyed a turn flying it. As the blades are more protected than my Hubsan and Syma X11C quadcopters so I thought it would be safer. The first Cager flew for about 45 seconds and not the 6 - 8 minutes flying time in the manual, and then it just crept along the ground so I thought the li-po battery must be faulty. I contacted Revell in Germany and they told me to return it to Amazon. I filled out the return form online and had my replacement the next day and was told I had a month to return the original which is fantastic service. Needless to say it now flies for about 6 minutes and the grandsons love it but not sure how long the non-replaceable li-po battery will last over time.

unfortunately it was broken when delivered but didn't re order as it seemed very flimsy and cheaply made thats why the cage was broken i suppose when it arrived Revell RC Flying Cager Infra Red 3-Channel with Gyro .

The controls which are designed to direct movement don't seem to work. They simply cause the flying gage to rotate round rather than travel in a particular direction. As a result it's already been confined to the toy box and not used since Christmas day

Good but tricky to fly

Battery very quickly degraded to being unable to hold enough power to fly. Arranging to return it.

Smooth and controllable. It also stays up for a good while.
