FRIO Insulin Cooling Wallet (Duo, Red)

As I was off to sunny Turkey for my holiday and I had a two and a half hour coach trip from the airport to my hotel I was concerned that my medicine would not stay cool and would have to be thrown away. However, I need not have worried as the Frio cool wallet did exactly what it said on the packaging and kept it cool for the entire trip. Upon arrival at the hotel I was then able to place my medicine in the fridge and allow the cool wallet to dry out ready for me to use for the journey home. This is so easy and simple to use very practical and no problems declaring it to the airport security in my hand luggage. Definitely recommend this product. You can use it over and over again providing you follow the instructions which are very easy.

I'm fairly new to the insulin thing. I was concerned that the insulin in use, ie not in the fridge, could accidentaly overheat while out and about and on a camping trip during the hot weather we have been enjoying. The frio is easy to use and does the job. I have not measured the temperature, but the pen is always cool to the touch. Peace of mind!

Having used frio pouches before, I had no concern with buying a replacement for my old pouch. I had a single pouch originally but as I now use two different pens, I order a duo pouch. Works great. Only concern is that the inner sleeve is the same size as my single. A bit of a tight fit. Still does the job.

Excellent product! Really keeps your insulin cool on those hot days, when your car is like an oven and everything is melting in the heat. Fast delivery too.

I bought this for my daughters Insullin when travelling to Florida & it is a brilliant invention. We didnt have to worry about her insullin as the bag protected it from the heat every day whilst walking around the parks in the baking hot conditions. Its very easy to use & no mess & not expensive at all. Its compact & fits into any size bag & discreet too.

I’m really impressed by this! I wasn’t sure how it would work, and was a bit concerned that it would drip or cause surrounding items to become wet. But despite the fact that you soak it in water to activate it and that the cooling works through evaporation, there’s no noticeable water leakage with even the outer pouch itself remaining dry to the touch! The medication remains cool inside too.

I am a type II diabetic and use the medicine Victoza which must be kept between 2 and 28 degrees centigrade for a maximum period of one month. I travel to Austin Texas USA regularly for business purposes. Usually after a 15 hours journey the temperature in Austin is usually well above 28 degrees. I started to use Frio Insulin wallet to keep my Victoza well below the 28 degrees limit. This wallet is extremely easy to use and does not require any refrigeration to keep medicine at the required temperature. If you are a diabetic and travel to hot countries regularly this wallet must be at the top of the priority list of your items for your journeys.

I used this when I went to South Africa, Botswana and Zimbabwe for four weeks. There wasn't any ice to keep cool, so I had to soak it in a sink of cold water whenever I could. I would definitely use this product again when Travelling.NOTE: Make sure you order the correct wallet for your requirements. I use a insulin pen, so my wallet could fit it 6x3 ml cartridges. It was a bit tight, but it did the job and my insulin stayed cool in a VERY hot climate.

Pochette testée pendant mes vacances dans une moyenne de températures ambiantes allant de 21 à 35 degré. Fonctionne parfaitement pour garder l'insuline au frais. Je l'ai transporté dans mon sac à dos et au soleil direct pendant des heures sans problème. Il est aussi facile de la préparer puisque que la tremper dans l'eau quelques minutes suffit.

Wie im Titel erwähnt, hält die Beschreibung was sie verspricht. Die Kühltasche bleibt ab und an sogar länger kühl als versprochen. Also empfehlenswert!

Idéal pour transporter l'adrénaline en plein été, il faut juste faire attention à ne pas trop le remouiller pour que les deux stylos puissent rentrer (j'ai des stylos Emerade). A voir quand il fera plus chaud mais pour l'instant, la pochette tient plus longtemps que ce qui est prévu par le fabricant.

Della stessa marca, avevo acquistato alcuni anni fa una custodia più piccola che mi aveva molto soddisfatto. Questa è più larga quindi si possono inserire due penne e qualche ago per avere il kit completo. Però va bene anche per altri farmaci (es. colliri). Una volta 'caricata' in acqua, la busta interna dura anche più di una settimana, purchè non si tenga al sole diretto. Usata anche per la spiaggia (dentro lo zaino all'ombra) dura tranquillamente 2/3 giorni prima di doverla reimmergere in acqua ed i farmaci alla sera sono sempre freschi. Unico neo, la permanenza in acqua va controllata per evitare che si gonfi eccessivamente e risulti inutilizzabile almeno per qualche giorno. Sono molto soddisfatto anche di questo prodotto.

Es una buena inversión para mantener fría la insulina u otros medicamentos. No da un frío excesivo pero si suficiente para no superar el umbral de conservación. Dura varios días. La única pega es que como la bolsa de infla con el gel, entran dos plumas justas. En general contento porque evita depender de neveras y bolsas de frío que se descongelan en pocas horas
