They weren't organized or sorted when I got them, but for the price I didn't expect they would be. Where I was surprised was the consistency of them. I bought them as cheap buffer to project work pieces from steel clamp jaws, so I didn't care if they were uniform thickness, but each shim is consistent within 0.0001" so these could be used as precision shims.

They are as advertised. I only needed the thinnest of these strips, not sure if I will ever use the thicker ones. I also wish they were labeled at to thickness. I considered buying a micrometer to check thickness, but decided to just eyeball it,and it worked for my intended use. I didn't want a $50 dollar solution to a $5 dollar problem.

JUST AS SHOULD BEE

Purchased these shims to make installing battery posts tighter. I have a specialized battery connection which would almost require replacing the whole assembly. Not going to get into that part of it, but, needless to say, I could not get the post clamps tight enough to make a good connection for staring the engine. The clamp would "bottom" out, but could still twist the cable when fully tighten. I needed a Spacer of some kind but decided to try these shims instead. I wrapped the inside of the clamp with a shim and the carefully installed clamp while keeping shim in place. Tightened the bolt and voila, instant fix! Seems to start easier and better than ever before!

Nice variety, but you need something to measure the thickness if there's a specific dimension you're looking for. They aren't labeled.
