I purchased a set of these solar lamps and I could not be happier with them, so far. The lamps are a flat, black color. I added two fleu de lis to each lamp for decorative purposes. The height of the lamps is as described, and the lamps have a good weight to them. There was some pretty heavy wind and rain that came through, yet these lamps (using the included ground stakes) withstood the weather and did not move!!! I was pleasantly surprised!! We lost power, yet our courtyard was well lit, thanks to these solar lamps!! Assembly was very easy. Be sure to remove the lamp portion to switch the mode to “on”. You can remove the lamp portion by simply twisting and lifting it. Be sure to twist/lock it back in place after putting it back on. These lamps are very beautiful and functional. I highly recommend them!!

Surprising degree of quality for the modest price. The lamps emit enough light define a safe walking path past our rear deck stair alcove. They're putting off just as much light right before dawn as they were shortly after dark. They even come with the masonry anchors and screws if you want to install them on concrete/cement. My only real quip with them is the pole sections don't secure as firmly together as I'd like, allowing them to flop and sway more than they could with a tighter fit, but it's not something that's only going to be obvious to passers by.

These are great lights. They are posted at the end of my driveway and have been up for awhile now. I wished the light was a little brighter but other than that they are perfect. Constructed well and hold up to the weather.

So nice! And two of them for the low price. They are super easy to put together. The top is made of glass not plastic so good quality. I chose to purchase these specifically because I wanted solar lamps that would come on at dusk and stay on (which is pretty hard to find actually) not just with motion. They have a switch to turn on. They were super easy to install. It took maybe 10 minutes to do both of them and only because I installed into the ground next to the sidewalk and hit some hidden concrete so I had to reposition. But they are very nice and easy to install. I might buy more to put in my backyard too.

Ok so the good thing about these is they are metal. The pole and the housing but the top is plastic. Mine arrived cracked. And although when I reached out to the company for the issue, they said they would send me another set, I decided still to return them. I don’t think a plastic top will last. But the most disappointing thing was the bulb and light color, listed as warm light, but it was more like soft white. For my 1925 house that didn’t work for us. Too white of a light that throws off all the other lights. In addition I feel the height is too short, which means it doesn’t have the “authentic” street light look, which is the reason we bought them. We decided to just spend more money and get the real thing. I figure if you’re going for the look it might as well be good otherwise what’s the point. But these might work for a small yard and people that don’t mind the kind of light they emit. But again, a warmer yellow light at night is much easier on your eyes and sets a certain inviting atmosphere. One last thing, directions show part A goes at the bottom of the pole. The screw area of the bottom B pole didn’t reach to connect. Then we decided to switch it to the top, and it fit perfectly, which leads us to believe the directions are backwards for those who do decide to buy.

We’ve had these for almost a year. They do what they’re supposed to do and they look nice.

Only lasted a year

First let me say that I do love these. I received them on 11-14-22 and set them up the same night. Having read that this style doesn’t hold up to wind, I used a 3/4” rod about 3’ long. Driving a little over a foot of the rod into the ground and sliding the post onto the remaining (just under 2’) was enough to support them through a windstorm.They are bright enough that I can spot my driveway at night which was the soul purpose of these.However, one stopped working two weeks in. The other doesn’t stay on long. I assume it’s the battery life (2 for $60 is pretty cheap after all) and attempted to change it only to find it isn’t your standard NiMH AA and it doesn’t have the nub on the + end so it won’t charge in my charge.I would have given this a solid 4 stars but now find an extra expense to purchase more batteries (not to mention the research to find the correct size as it’s not on the battery anywhere)
