We got this mantle in grey for underneath our big screen tv and above our fireplace. It looks awesome! Humby did a great job installing also. I can now decorate for the seasons. It’s very sturdy as well.

It has definitely enhanced our fireplace brick wall. No one can really tell it’s not one piece of solid wood until they come up close to examine it as you will be able to see where the wood has been glued together. There’s also not much character to the wood, and it’s a hollow piece, although it has been decently put together. There’s no glue showing and it’s been sanded and stained well. Upon seeing it for the first time, It did make me think “hmm, I could’ve made this for less than half the price”. It actually sat on our living room for two days before we decided to put it up because we weren’t sure if we wanted to keep it. However, it was fairly easy to put up. Overall, for the ease of installation and immediate benefit of quickly improving the look of our fireplace area, it was worth it.

Went up easy. Liked the stain color. Just the right length. Had to cut one which was easy to do since it is all wood. It went in a corner. Not cheap. Is not a solid wood mantel but both mantels were built exactly the same.

This mantle was well made. Clean edges and seams. A nice golden color. Not too yellow or orange. I did return it because I decided I wanted something a little more rustic and beat up looking and this was not that way. It was very smooth and sleek. If smooth and sleek is your style then this is an excellent choice!

this piece is beautiful and finished off my fireplace. I love the finish on it and it was exactly what I was looking for. It is not as sturdy as I hoped for the wood that it slides onto is a little bit sketchy. I just took some small L brackets underneath to make it more secure. But you can’t even see them. Very happy with this product.
