I have a 5dmk4 and use the yn568ex ii, how best will this pair with it, which is best of camera for fill and backlight. is 2 advised for value

It will work as a slave to YN568 if that's what you after. It is a manual flash so won't do TTL.

What is the Recycle time please?

The manual states 3s. With fully charged batteries I find in practice it is slightly faster(maybe 2s?) and at 1/4 power or less it is effectively instant.

Will it work with canon eos 100d?

Yes. It only has one pin for firing, so it should work with any standard hotshoe camera with a central firing pin, which covers pretty much all modern cameras. The wireless functionality, however, will require either a Yongnuo commander module or another YN560IV flash.

Will this work with canon 2000d

It will work with all Canon DSLR cameras equipped with a hit shoe. Bear in mind that it will be simple single pin functionality. The camera won’t recognise it as a Canon flash gun. You have to spend a lot more on a Canon flash to get that. It hasn’t been a disadvantage to me.
