Ideal for the job I had in mind
The photo shows milk kefir culture and under the sieve the sieved kefir ready to drink. The sieve is quite small and I wondered if it would do the job of sieving one mug of kefir (yogurt like probiotic drink). Now the kefir cultures are growing fast the sieve does not hold the full amount in one go. Other than that it does the job perfectly. It is so easy to clean too (a little soapy water in the bowl I used to decant the kefir and all is clean in seconds. The handy hooks fit my small bowl perfectly too which is a great help. Recommended.

Overpriced, flimsy item - but really good strainer
OK, it's nylon mesh, not metal, so it can't be used to strain veg and remain on saucepan to keep warm on the gas hob. But I knew that when I bought it. It strains really well and washes up spotlessly. It's just so flimsy, which I wouldn't have minded if it cost 99p - but I look at it and know that the import from China would have cost the importer around 10p - if that. Heck of a mark-up, guys.

Lo utilizzo tutti i giorni per riuscire a filtrare bene il siero del kefir di latte. Prima utilizzavo un normale scolapasta di plastica ma con i buchi grandi che aveva non riuscivo a tirare fuori neanche un ml di siero. Con questo basta lasciarlo qualche minuto a scolare e il siero si separa perfettamente. Poi basta muovere il kefir e piano piano scende anche quello separando per bene i grani. Consigliato!
