A Must Have
These days many gas caps are accessible because the covers do not lock. I find that this gives me added security with the high cost of gas and keeps thieves from taking my fuel. It fit real easy and the only issue was I could not attach it to the support piece that keeps me for forgetting to put the cap back on I will figure that out.

Does not lock
This cap goes on and you can turn the key as designed the tab opens to engage the rim of the filler neck, however, when you take the key out and it's fully engaged you can pop it off with your fingernail. Therefore you have no locking gas cap and barely even a cap.Update; vendor provided full refund after they read this review. The cap obviously still doesn't fit but the vendor is very reputable and conducted themselves in a very acceptable way. I would use this vendor although as I said the product just didn't work for me. Definitely very respectable and reputable vendor.

It only requires the keys to open but to close it you dont need the keys which some caps require it for both opening/closing.

When you first unlock the cap you assume like everything else made in the USA you turn the key to the left- not this one! to unlock you turn the key to the right.

works well once you get the hang of it
With high gas prices i felt like having a locking gas cap to deter gas thieves. This is in combo with a locking fuel door. The fuel filler area is kind of cramped with my key ring but doable. Make sure your gas cap is on correctly to avoid the "GAS CAP" light on the dash. Works well with my 08 Jeep JKU.
