TomTom Golfer GPS Watch - Black

Reasonably good product but support from vendor is marginal!Despite submitting missing information on my golf course, it continues not to show doglegs and does not forward advance to the next hole. I contacted Tom Tom support several times by email and their website support facility, but received very little in the form of a solution. I have purchased several Tom Tom products over the years and this Golfer GPS has to be my most disappointing purchase. The 2nd version of the Golfer GPS was launched a few weeks later which I was not advised about, otherwise I may have purchased it and benefited from improvements, if any?

What a mixture of reviews so far. Some had me doubting the wisdom of this purchase. I've used this watch for one day and I am totally delighted with the features and performance.It locked onto my local golf course (Bridlington) within a few seconds and did all the increments as I went from hole to hole. I did notice that the distances did not correspond with those on my playing partner's Garmin watch. A little investigation showed why - mine was on metres and his on yards so make sure you check your units setting.The watch charges up very quickly and it was less than half used up after a 4 and 1/2 hour round.Another mystery is why the blue version costs so much less than the grey version. I particularly like the blue one - a bit of flash.If the watch fails to live up to my first impressions I will update this review.

Gift for my dad, he wears it but the strap is quite large and bulky, might look better with a nicer strap.

Excellent golf watch. However, the strap broke after two years and cannot be replaced. So very disappointing. Have had to reluctantly purchase a different watch as this one is no longer available.

I gave the watch five stars because it is very accurate looks very nice easy to update once you have downloaded the software I have it on my phone and computer and believe already it has it has improved my game, you know what club to use and have the confidence to use it to full. I have to be honest I found that the manual was hard work to read as it is only 70cm X 70cm in size so the writing is minute I had to put it under a bright light and magnify it but all is well that ends well I love this new gadget it works well and will be on my wrist every time I have a round of golf from now on, it's a good bit of kit guys.

I have had the item just less than 12 months. The strap has in the last month started to split in various places and as such cannot be worn safely. The item has a 2 year warranty. When trying to sort this out through Amazon it is a nightmare as it does not give an option in their drop down menu system to be able to resolve this problem. There is no section for "other issues" Frustrated again by the fact that in another section it will not allow me to check back further that 1 January for my purchase in order to relate this to my concerns. All I want to do is try to get a replacement strap.

We had a bit of an issue with the first watch we received. After using once the product got extremely hot almost like a battery error and the screen went black at the side. Our replacement watch was perfect though. Accurate GPS and worked very well on my local course. Battery life is good and it's very comfortable with a decent display. Would recommend even with the faulty first one

Easy to use GPS watch with thousands of courses built in, has really helped my short/medium game on the 3 courses I've tried it on so far. Within 150 yards of the green I can ignore bunkers, lakes, etc and just choose the correct club for the distance shown on the watch.
