Great but crimp plates are metric
Great tool. Good shipping. For as tool goes, it's super easy to use, easy to change crimp plates. Super easy to crimp. For as crimping plates go, plates are marked in mm3 which doesn't cross directly to sae gauges. But with that being said do little research and you'll easily find which crimp plate is for which guage wire lug. Also with the guage not matching perfectly theres slight imperfections in the crimp, but it's more of a OCD imperfection than a bad crimp.

Does the trick! I've been using it for 4/0 lugs and haven't had any issues yet. My only complaint is that the tool retaining pin loves to slip out, so you have to have some care about positioning when you're using it (can be a real pain when working with tight clearances).

Dies are not to spec, but they're close.
The dies are not all exactly right - For example, the smallest die, a 16mm2, was coming in closer to 18.3mm2, which for smaller cables is dangerous and unacceptable. Out of the box it could NOT make acceptable crimps in 6AWG wire and lugs. The error matters less on the larger dies. The small die was corrected on the CNC mill.

Awesome crimper.
This 12 ton hydraulic crimper works great.No leaks from the pump and all the attachments fit well.Simple to use,they make very nice crimps on any wire I have used so far. I wish I would have bought one of these years ago, could have saved a lot of money making my own jumpers instead of purchasing them. It’s exceeded my expectations ,for the price you can't beat it.Much better than the hand crimpers I have used till now,highly recommended!
