Great Bulbs!
Not sure how many hours we have put on these bulbs, but I've only had 1 go bad in the last 4 years! They have been great bulbs so far! These are bright enough to replace a 60 watt bulb in most scenarios..especially if you have multiple bulbs in a light fixture.

GOREGOUS! EXACTLY What I was Looking For!
There are SO many choices for Edison bulbs these days it's confusing! Different filaments, shapes, wattage and sizes.I was after a vintage looking bulb that was an LED, but gave a light bright enough that my family can actually function. I love the look of the traditional amber Edison bulbs, but they aren't practical for a dining room or anywhere else where you actually need light to see.Enter these 40W 2700k Warm White Bulbs. On a dimmer, and with 18 of them, they are bright and beautiful. The glow is warm and inviting...and functional! I can actually see to entertain or wipe my toddlers face. The bulb itself is clear, and the filament is a yellow/gold color. I've posted photos showing the bulbs at their brightest and dimmest setting, as well as off.I will be purchasing more of these bulbs for other fixtures around the house. They are perfect!

Packaged to protect; product exactly as described
These are quality looking bulbs that work well. Packaging was done well. Only severe mishandling should result in a damaged delivery. Each light individually boxed, inside a rigid formed clear plastic shell provided great protection. My order was 2700k bulbs. I wasn’t sure if these would be enough light for my application. The light at this rating serves very well as warm accent lighting. If task lighting is your application a 4000k or higher is probably better. I ordered these for a kitchen island with seating. There is adequate task lighting in place for the kitchen workspaces. These add a nice contrast to that providing adequate but more intimate lighting over the island top. That said, I would recommend and purchase again for any similar application.

The perfect warm brightness bulb
If you are like me-I am super sensitive to lighting. I can’t stand bright white-it makes me feel like I’m in a 1980s classroom and the yellow bulbs are to dim for daily use. These are a perfect warm light. They are not yellow-but not white light either. They match my other warm light bulbs which is also a must. These also do not leave halos in my eyes like many of the other Edison bulbs do. I have not tried the dimming feature yet-so I may need to update this at a later time. So far so good-best price I could find too!

If you hate your Edison bulb amber light read my review!
I’ve had nothing but light bulb issues since investing in lighting that involved Edison bulbs. The bulbs my fixtures came with were so dim and amber colored, after spending a few hours of installing the fixtures I felt I wanted to tear them down and return them. The lighting in the store example definitely did not look like it was in my home. I’ve spent $120 trying to find the perfect bulbs. I realized 60w with exposed filament bulbs is blinding. So I took it down to 40w. I went through three temperatures before I found that 2700k is similar to my lamp light. I could get away with 3000k as well, but anything beyond that is a blue unnatural surgical room type of light. So when I decided 40w 2700k was my route to go, I couldn’t find any bulbs that had the shape of the Edison. So I had round bulbs in and it looked ridiculous, as well as the fact they were $8 for ONE bulb. I was so stressed out about lights I found myself not able to sleep and reading hours of reviews on light bulbs on amazon, to finally settle on these. I love them. They are perfect and affordable! I did notice on a dimmer switch, with the light lowered there is a little bit of flickering, but not so much a flicker as a little wave of bright to darker. I’m ok with it though because it’s subtle.

What's the difference? 5000K ... 4000K... 3000K .... 2700K
I bought these light's when I was trying to find the perfect color for my new fixtures I had installed. I knew I wanted LED but didn't know what 2700, 5000k all was about. I read 100's of these darn reviews and got so confused. So I went on a Amazon shopping spree to get the right ones. Had to get a few different brands just to get the price within budget. So here's what I learned. I bought these after the 5000K were too bright (different brand) and white and killed the vibe I was looking for. My family said it was like looking into the sun and all the objects around had shadows on the floor. Literally looked like the sun was brought into the house turned white and put on a light switch. They lasted all of a hour before we had to switch them out, or we might all be blinded by the light. These, the 4000k were slightly better but they had a delay when I flipped the switch on. I knew this wasn't normal. I had other bulbs both Edison and the normal round LED's that you pick up just about anywhere these days. So that was a HUGE negative for these lights. When I walked into my kitchen I wanted light. Not the five second+ delay you get with cold CFL light out in your garage in the dead of winter in Minnesota. If you're looking for one's that have a bright WHITE and you want a clean hospital look that won't blind you. Pick these, or pick another 4000K. I guess it could have something to do with the dimmable programming in them, non of the other lights I bought had that option, I didn't need it, didn't test it- Didn't care.If you want to set the mood, have more of the vintage vibe that's all the rage right now go with the 2700 or around there, under 3000 for sure. You won't be BLINDED by the light. It won't look like you just walked into the old age home to visit Grandma. It will feel more like you walked in to a comfortable living space that you want to snuggle up with your dog and drink a box of wine on Friday night... hiding from the kids of course.UPDATE: The seller got in touch with me and shipped some 2700K bulbs for me to test out of the same brand. They still have a slight delay but nothing like the 4000K.

Warm look
Arrived quickly. Packed well. I like the warm look rather than the natural white. Hope they last.
