This is so cute. It was smaller than I expected , so next time I’ll do my homework. But it will be in our kitchen under the window or in the living room. We haven’t decided yet! But if your looking for something compact for storage, this is it!

I liked the fact this came so well packaged and the instructions were so clear and simple. It was definitely a long assembly time, but it’s really a solid little bench. The bench is great for my small entryway and gives people a comfortable surface to sit on while putting on their shoes.

It's a fair bench, the dowels are just a little too small for the pre drilled holes, used wood glue to assist with durability.

It doesn’t hold a lot of shoes.I purchased this item because it does hold my grandsons work boots and my two puppies aren’t able to open the closets.

When we inserted the dowel, it broke right through the outside of the piece.

I’ve put together many a furniture by hand and this is by far the most horribly designed piece. The screws don’t catch smoothly so it complicates the entire structure. The wooden dowels are so weak that they break and get stuck inside, rendering at least one of my shelves completely useless. Cute look but doesn’t assemble well. Still functional but I have to reinforce. 😒***Updated*** Would rate 0 stars. For $99, it’s slowly but surely separating into a pile of shoey nothingness. Highly disappointed.

While the piece itself is quite nice the instructions are not easily understood and there were several holes not drilled.

My husband is very handy and it took him 1 1/2 hours to put together because the instructions were incorrect and he had to figure out how to put it together. Once together it looks good and seems sturdy.

This bench is lovely and sturdy but somehow smaller than I expected, even though I measured. Instructions had a couple of confusing diagrams but altogether easy to put together. Mine did not come with the pull out drawer in the middle, but I kept it because I thought it looked good, was well made and the size would work out. If you want something larger, or that middle drawer, make sure you get the right product by looking at the assembly booklet. Getting inserts to these drawers would be difficult as they are small. They would fit shoes but I have other things in them right now and they do store a fair bit for the size.

I thought for a couple of days before leaving this review so i dont speak out of my disappointment. I dont usually leave bad reviews, but at the cost, I believe this is not worth it. Here are pros and cons:Pros:- It's cute- It's easy-ish to put together (you can probably do it yourself)Cons:- The smell: This is the worst thing about this piece. From the moment i unpacked it, my nose and throat started burning. It has the most toxic smell (i believe it's the paint). It's been unpacked for two days with windows open to air it out and the smell is still there. If you have pets or kids, stay away!- The sturdiness: It says it can hold 220 lbs. At 160 lbs, every time i sit on it i'm scared. It creaks so much that i'm very concerned. I also have it set right across a full-sized mirror and i can see it deform slightly when i sit. I doubt it could handle 220 lbs.- The quality: The wood seems okay-ish. That's it, okay-ish. Not sure if it'll last for long.- The size: It's small. I looked at the measurement and considered accordingly, so i wasn't expecting anything large, but this is tiny! The cupboards are so small that you can hardly put anything in them. I have a small basket where i keep my keys and wallet (the size of a plate) and even that prevents the doors from closing.The hassle of returns made me keep this, but i would not buy it again. I also would not recommend. Which is sad because, like i said, it's very cute.

Bench was easy to put together and is comfy to sit down on and love the extra storage below.

It's very nice and pretty sturdy. Unfortunately it is not as described. It has 3 doors instead of 2 doors and 1 drawer.
