Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier is better than the last two name brand humidifiers I purchased. The size is perfect for a child's bedroom. The top where the mist comes out can be angled towards the bed and the lights provide a gentle soothing night light, my child loves changing the colors each night. The mist is fine and very soothing. Not overpowering, not too little like the tiny ones. The large ones with animal shapes dump out too much water too fast and it gets everywhere, but not the case with Crane Ultrasonic Cool Mist Humidifier; it sends out fine mist without leaving a trace. My child had night after night with no coughing and good rest because of this product. Buttons are easy to use, light touch and adding water is very easy - lift up, unscrew cap, fill, put back on the base. Love this product.

There's two versions of this humidifier. First has a white plastic top and two buttons, one for on, and second for nightlight. You press it twice to get a stronger stream of humidity.Then there's this version with the transparent blue top. You press power button once and it delivers a decent amount of humidity. Press it twice, and it keeps the same humidity, but also turns on a light.I was hoping this would have the multi-level steam option, and was disappointed to find it doesn't.Regardless, I'm under the impression the amount of steam it lets out is equivalent to the max of the other model, which is what I wanted. Putting the power button as the night light is also kinda weird.Cleaning is easy, but reaching the tiny spots is tough. Buy distilled white vinegar and let it soak in the cup and around it. Scrub with the little brush they give you and it gets rid of all growth easily. Then wash again to get rid of vinegar smell.Use distilled or filtered water when operating. I drain my water through a filtration system. Seems to work well.Do NOT submerge the bottom in any water! It will destroy the electronic system and it won't function (guess why I ended up buying this model?).Overall: The system delivers humidity that lasts all night. It works well, needs minor cleaning once a week, and if this model works as well as the last model, will last upwards of 2 years (unless you submerge the bottom part in water).I would suggest the white top model with two buttons, however if this is the only option available, I'd also suggest this one as well. Decent price and acceptable performance. Thank you.

We had the big crane which we loved, but when it died I decided to try this little crane version. And it really works well, has many improvements from the big one, the only thing is that there's only one strength for the vapor, which is very strong, unlike the big crane which you could regulate. Other from that is very good!

Loved this.. especially the size and how easy it was to use!However, a piece chipped off of the part where it spins on to close the water in. So now I can’t use it. I only used it a few times :(

My son loves this in his bedroom. It is whisper quiet and he loves the color changing LED lights. The lights are just the perfect brightness, they put a soft glow in the room that is not too bright.He sleeps with it next to his bed.This is now his thing... he shows it off to his friends!Most importantly, it has really helped out his sinusitis.It can produce a ton of steam on high. We keep it on low with the door slightly cracked. His room is about 160 sq ft and it always feels comfortable, not too humid and not too dry. Thank you Crane!

I bought this item from Amazon to be shipped and got it delivered. I filled it up and turned it on by plugging the cord, nothing! No Vapor or anything!

Perfect for a desk top humidifier in a office room.

It is nice but I found it much smaller than I expected. Therefore it only runs for 8 hours. The size can make it slightly difficult to manage I find.
