I cut the breaded line down to fit what I needed. I need about 12" long.The fitting are aluminum but for now is holding. I have strong dual springs. The fitting that holds the cable in the hole should be a little smaller to hold the cable better inside. The fitting screw for the throttle is to small it should be 14/20 size screw part for the right mounting hole on carbs throttle plate like this. As in the pictures a posted. The screw fitting that comes with can be used, But not in the right hole for the throttle cable, It would be nice if it cam with both throttle screw size.

I had to cut mine because it was too long. But it worked fine

The only thing I was able to use from this kit was the outer jacket. The part that attaches to the carburetor linkage would not stay together. The clip would just fall off. The Allen screw that holds the cable is to small and the cable just pulls out. I tried to tighten the Allen screw really tight and all it did was ruin the cable. I ended up using the outer part and a bicycle brake cable and cable stop to make something work. Do not buy this item. Very poor quality.

Works as should ! Good quality the Alan key supplied is poor quality and will slip but use a proper one and your good. For the price it’s as good as the more expensive ones as I’ve seen many in my trade
