Belly part isn't comfortable, slides down. Tights break easily
I started having varicose veins during my second pregnancy. Once I got pregnant for the third time they showed up again right away so I ordered these footless compression tights. They made the vein on my ankle much worse and I also developed a bruise on my inner ankle below where the tights end. This product is not recommended if you already have varicose veins on your ankle, then they end in the wrong place and you should wear the ones that cover your feet as well. Also I only wore them for a couple of months and in this short amount of time there were little holes on the thigh from having to pull them up (I kept my fingernails short but it still happened. You have to pull them up somehow when you use the washroom...). The belly part was extremely uncomfortable, it stops mid- tummy and doesn't stay up well so you are constantly trying to fix it. It's not adjustable depending on your growing belly. I ended up having to buy another pair which cost twice as much but lasted the last 4 months of my pregnancy and even after that without having the problem on the thigh and the sliding down on my tummy.

better than the other maternity leggings I bought on Amazon with 20-30mmHg
Terramed is better than these tights: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01MXPKU9P/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1The biggest reason I like the Terrabmed better is the belly area. Terramed's is better. The other one in the link above is SOO much extra stretchy stuff and the band at the top will never be flat. Terramed looks almost identical, even the band is really similar at the top and not truly flat but leave a ridge around your middle, but the stretchy part between your hips and to the top of the ban just fits better. It lies smooth and I think it's a construction thing more than a size thing. I don't know if there's a way to make the top of the leggings lay flatter since the are more like nylon material that wraps around some sort of elastic band, but that's part of the reason I can't give them 5 stars. Check out the picture of me at 26 weeks. You can see where it doesn't lie flat and I've just had to accept that. I think after a few washes they just don't lay quite as flat as they did initially either, on any of the seams or the top band.I bought a small in both, though the Terramed sizing chart suggested I get the M. I'm so glad they were sold out of the M everywhere or they would have been WAY too big. That's part of the reason for the loss of a star. I'm 5'7" and pre-pregnancy weight of 115lbs. Now I'm around 126lbs at 21 weeks and the Small for both brands is what I'd go with. I'd even say there is a little room to grow in the legs and for sure the belly area with the Terramed. UPDATE - I'm now 26 weeks pregnant, 131lbs and still no problems with the Small. I don't think I'll need a larger size even when I'm full term. I can feel the buttons on the inside of the band which is supposedly adjustable, but I haven't tried to adjust as I don't need to.Both brands are not true leggings. Both are like semi-opaque tights. The compression of the other brand may be sightly better since I feel like I have a little more room to grow in these, or they feel like I can stretch them more. But they both feel good when I'm standing up - meaning they are both helping with my painful varicose veins well.Lastly, this other brand in the link above I've had for less than a month and I have little pulls in them already. Granted, I put them on/take them off usually 2x a day as I can't stand wearing them under pants. So if I wear pants to work I wear the compression in the morning and then when I get back home. I can take care of my 2 other kids and not be in pain! I don't know if these will also start getting little pulls. I can still wear the others, it's just clear that all of the stretching to get them on and off is taking its toll. UPDATE: At 26 weeks pregnant I have to wear these tights at all times when I'm standing or else I'm in pain. I've resorted to wearing maternity dresses or long skirts with these tights on, instead of pants. I also bought a second pair of the Terramed tights so I can wash them more often. The weave of the other brand is a bit different and feels tighter, but I can still wear those as well. Both have little "pulls" or spaces where the weave has been slightly separated, but they don't run like nylons or anything.Overall, buy these if you need maternity leggings. I haven't found a better option with this level of compression!

Tights not leggings but they WORK
My story: I was desperate for relief so I bought these. They are not easy to get on especially if you’re in the third trimester BUT if they were easy to get on they wouldn’t work. The belly part isn’t super comfortable if you’re in the third trimester but ladies....if your legs are burning and hurting so bad it’s hard to walk around? Fold down the belly part and make it work. I have VV going up to where the sun does not shine and these made a HUGE difference. There is not compression in the vaginal area so keep that in mind but you can pull the compression area up to the bikini line. These are TIGHTS not leggings. I’ve been wearing them under my skinny jeans (it’s winter) and some pairs it’s a snug fit but most of the time it’s fine. These are fairly thin enough to do that. Again, these are TIGHTS. Your underwear will show in these.

Fantastic for Air Travel While Pregnant!
I recently wore these tights at 6 1/2 months pregnant on a 7-hour trans-Atlantic flight to prevent blood clots because I have a clotting disorder. They worked very well for me and are surprisingly comfortable. I am 5'1'', my pre-pregnancy weight is 115 lbs, I am currently 130 lbs and the Small fit perfectly. I wore them under maternity jeans. I strongly recommend them for other pregnant women who will be travelling. Remember, of course, that to prevent blood clots it's also important to walk around the plane hourly, drink at least 3L of water the day of the flight, and drink several more bottles of water throughout the flight.
