Exactly what I needed
It shipped pretty fast and was exactly what I was looking for. I bought this product because I'm going to do what's called a "briefcase" build, which is basically fitting a desktop computer (AMD a-8 Octocore, 16gb Ram, 64 gb ssd, h20 water cooler corsair 800w psu, aaaaand an ATI Radeon 7950 (ho ho ho). As you can imagine, a rig like this would normally fit into a huge box, but with the pci express lift kit, I can mount the video card anywhere and not need to have such a thick briefcase (my graphics card is HUGE!). A laptop with this kind of computing power would cost upwards of 3 grand, I built this computer for around 700 bucks and am going to make it portable for about 30 (just got to pop the right tag at the thrift store on agood case lol...plus the cost of the lift kit.) Alos, I noticed the product came sealed in a static bag, like the bag wasn't just folded over, it was factory sealed, all solder contacts had protective blue tape covering them, and they appeared to be soldered consistently. It was definitely worth the few extra bucks over some of the other lift kits I seen on Amazon that didn't get good reviews )some said theirs looked like they were hand soldered in a gargae lol).

Exceptional!
I read the mixed reviews on Amazon before I purchased this and was overly concerned. I NEEDED this, but was scared to death to buy it given that people said it ruined their whole system and I was going to be plugging a $900 graphics card into it. I went ahead and ordered it, and when it arrived I inspected it thoroughly. This was a high quality cable with solid soldering. I checked for continuity across every trace and made sure there were no bleeds from one trace to another. I would suggest everyone do that. It only takes a multimeter and about 10 minutes to do it. You can give yourself the assurance you need BEFORE plugging it into your hundreds of dollars worth of mining equipment.I am very happy with it and it is working perfectly. It was the perfect solution to my heat problems.

Not shielded.... BUT if you dont have other components, this should work fine.
These cables are not shielded, so if you run them next to any other cables, or electronic equipment, they will probably stop working! So keep them clear of other interference. Other than that... they got the job done.If you want to see what a shileded PCI cable looks like, search 'JerryRigs Rig' on YouTube and itll pop up with the Shielded PCI riser that I used to attach my GPU to my motherboard in a wall mounted situation. I tried this cable first... but there was too much interference for consistent use.

Works perfectly
I know a lot of people complain that these things have damaged their hardware, but I suspect that's mostly due to those users not taking care to ensure both ends are securely connected before powering up the machine.I am currently using a half dozen of these riser cables, and have had no issues at all. Seems like they're all basically the same, regardless of who you buy them from. Just use common sense, tripple check that both ends are connected securely before powering up, and you should be good to go.

Glad I chose right
Works great. Decent quality. Out of all the risers I found this was the most expensive (by only a few bucks) and it was worth the extra money. I didn't want to take a chance on some of the other risers out there, and I have no complaints with this one. Works great for gaming, though I haven't pushed it too hard yet.

Good for tight spaces
My motherboard had three PCI-e x16 slots, but the third one only had a single slot gap from the second one, therefore, no room for airflow. I have a big case, so I got this, and used it to move my third card an extra two slots down (originally was just going to be one, but other cables in the way made me have to go one further, past the board). All three cards run well, and the one attached to this adapter runs just as if it were plugged directly into the board. People say not to daisy chain them though.

well built, could be longer
I have unplugged, twisted, and pulled on these cables many times to try different configurations, and they have stood the test of durability. I wish they were a bit longer so I could get more space between the GPU's, but I still get plenty of airflow to keep the cards under 70C.

didn't work.
I had to send it back because it didn't work. I was trying to use it to fit a larger video card into my case. The cable worked somewhat at first, but the computer kept crashing. I tried repositioning it, thinking that it was not connecting to the board properly, but it just never worked right. There's no clasp to hold it to the PCIe slot on the motherboard, so if you don't position it just right, the video card plugged in to the other end causes it to just come unplugged. Disappointing.
