I have a big bag for my kit and one of the pieces I was missing was a shelter, This tent is small enough to fit in my bag and give me peace of mind, I put it in a zip lock bag with a emergency blanket, Emergency pillow Yes that's a thing, and an emergency sleeping bag, Combined with a five by seven tarp. With all of these items especially the tent I can now feel reasonably safe if I ever got stuck out in the wilderness. And for me it's a possibility as I like to go hiking and I don't have a good sense of direction or navigation. So this little tent gives me Peace of Mind!

This is a protective shelter when there’s no other shelter available. I have it with a hiking backpack that stays in my car. If we should wander off the trail and need to stay out all night, this will offer protection against the elements. It’s designed for two people and should protect us from rain and snow. Don’t know for sure yet because we’re not lost and don’t plan to be, but even good plans can break down at times. The cost is low enough so I won’t feel bad if it wears out without even getting used, or if I donate it to the grandchildren for an outdoor overnight at summer camp. Happy Trails to all.
