BlueSunshine MTB BB8 Mechanical Disc Brake Front and Rear 160mm Whit Bolts and Cable

Put these on my wife's electric bike to replace what was there (and the new pads). Worked fine.

I was going to replace the worn pads on my Tektro IO calipers but for about double price I ordered an entire brake set. My Tektro calipers were corroded and had high mileage use...got my money worth. These are easily installed and adjusted no problems. Braking is superb and for the money this is an excellent set of brakes.

No instructions but I figured it out. I could only install the front caliper because rear hub not compatible with disc. In any case, the brake works better than the rim type that was on there, but not significantly better

The rotors are fine but the pads suck. It stops once after that the pads don't work.

The screws are made of very bad material, it's easy to get them rounded up. I had to remove and replace the screws except for one that was damaged. I don't recommend these brakes for heavy bycicle riders as the brakes will not work properly.

I got 1200 miles on my mechanical electric bike brakes before the pads were so worn they were rubbing metal-on-metal. Because it was way too much hassle to replace the discs and run new cables I replaced only the front and rear brake assemblies themselves which were another brand from the ones I took off.. It appears most Chinese bike manufacturers use exact same size and distance bolt patterns as the entire brake assembly both front and rear were an easy direct bolt-on. After simple adjustments (as there were no supplied instructions) the brakes work perfectly. Quite a bargain.
