60 inch Electric Fireplace, Recessed and Wall Mounted Fireplace Heater, 750/1500W Thermostat with Remote Control, Realistic Flame Combinations, Black (60")

We had a wood-burning fireplace that was an odd size. We wanted an electric insert (wood fires were too much mess and bother), but traditional inserts wouldn't fit. We considered electric log sets, but then we found this one - which was just a couple of inches smaller than our fireplace opening, and the contemporary styling suited our house. We built a wooden frame to fill the gap and painted it flat black, and it looks built-in. If you look at the fireplace close-up, you can tell it isn't real, but from a distance of a few feet it could pass for a gas flame. Love the convenience - it is on almost every evening. The heater wasn't all that important for us, but it does work. Final note - one reviewer complained of a "floppy glass panel" - I don't think he installed it correctly. The instructions are a little vague, but there are hooks on the back of the glass panel. You have to lift the glass up before you push it in and down to engage the upper hooks. Do yourself a favor and print out the manual from the link on the Amazon page so you don't have to get your magnifying glass out to read the itty bitty one that comes in the box.

60 inch, installed recessed mount. The fireplace looks wonderful but we didn't think we would ever get it installed. The so called instructions were very vague and the print sooooo tiny. We had a heck of a time getting the glass out. Finally had to unscrew the bracket on one side. We have remodeled over a dozen homes and are certainly adept with tools, fabrication, materials, etc. These instructions s*ck. The item shipped promptly and arrived undamaged. And it really looks fantastic.

We remodeled our home and had this entertainment area built. Fireplace topped off the design. Works and looks great!

The media could not be loaded. This fireplace looks great! Delivered on time- in great shape. Easy to install and handle. We haven’t tried the heat yet…but I’m sure it will be fine. Absolutely gives a cozy vibe. Exactly what we expected.

This is a really nice fireplace and I love the way it changes colors. There's a function that will shut the fireplace off automatically if it is too hot. Nice safety features.

The media could not be loaded. I am not happy with this product. But unfortunately, I had already installed it.The glass is floppy. Not tightly secured. That's dangerous and a liability... thats the only reason i gave it a 3 star....how do I fix this issue?

My unit did not function properly, however customer service was quick to respond to my concern offering a full refund or replacement. The unit did look quite nice.

I like that the black frame is thin. Beautiful and good customer service. Good value for the price.

I purchased this electric fireplace after an extensive research on various brands, reviews, etc..... This one consistently was in the top 3, eventually winning because of the price. I had to build an enclosure for it as the dimensions were a little big for me to cut into the wall. I tested prior to building the enclosure and it looked great. Once I placed it in the enclosure, I was convinced that I was right in getting this. The various settings really enhances it and the flames look very realistic. The blower for the heat, even on high, is barely a whisper, and it does put out a tremendous amount of heat. I would highly recommend this unit. Also you will be pleased to know that it is very well packed and the directions were easy to follow. You will not regret it.
