Nice bright light, really easy to install, the connector is pretty cool it's essentially works like a speaker terminal where you press the connector tab to open up an internal clamp and you slide the wire in.I seen reviews on here mentioning cutting the connector off for some reason lol

Painting project forced up to upgrade an old (1960) 2nd floor incandescent hallway light. We labored over what type/style would be best. Were apprehensive at first. This light was PERFECT. Easy installation. Clean design and attractive low profile look. MUCH brighter than our previous 100W incandescent fixture. An amazing improvement. We are considering buying more for other spaces in our home.

14 months ago, we bought and installed 5 of these in our kitchen, replacing ugly builder lights. They were not easy to mount, and we had problems with one of them repeatedly falling. We would come into the kitchen to find it hanging from its wires. Eventually, this was resolved but 2 days ago we discovered a different one hanging. This one had spontaneously broken a mounting bracket overnight! Nobody bumped it or touched it in any way. I just ordered 2 more since this one has to be replaced and I decided to keep a spare. The light itself is undamaged, but can't be mounted on the ceiling due to the bracket being toast! It is a shame since they are nice and bright and look good on the ceiling. The mounting brackets are badly engineered.August 2. I'm adding to this review and bumping it up to 5 stars since we installed the replacement for the broken one. The mounting system has been completely redesigned and now works just great. I'm glad we bought a spare, since I don't expect the original lights to last as long as the newer ones.

Low profile, no visible diodes, soft distribution, good color and color rendering, smart enclosure and quick connect with release for wires. Well designed from a mounting standpoint if you have all thread on hand (allows you to screw the bracket on to the center of a jbox light bracket, it didn’t match up with the two holes on the bracket as well.Will purchase again.

The lighting is unique to LEDs and farbrighter than incandescent bulbs. It is not the harsh lighting thata neon light produces. The price is remarkably good.

The light is nice and lit the hallway much nicer than my old fixture which burnt out those small global bulbs every month. There are a few things to care for when installing. It took about 10 minutes from start to finish, and I offer these steps to help you do so too.1. Have a separate light source so you can see what you are doing.2. Make sure there is at least 4 inches of source black/white wiring to be able to work it in place3. Do not use the 3 felt feet as it puts a space between the fixture and the ceiling and it wont catch the bracket.I removed the old fixture and pulled the black/white wires out as long as possible.I removed the wire cover from the new light, and the mounting plate tooI then used the 2 screws that provided to attach the plate to the existing mounting bracket inside the existing fixture. Make sure the new bracket sits flush to the ceiling and doesn't creep into the hole, else the flanges do not stick out enough and won't catch on the light.I attached the new bracket and stuck the wires into the holes (Black = L, white = N). I gave them a tug to be sure they wont come out.** While now hanging from the ceiling I tested the light.I then put the wire cover back on. I had to use a stubby screw driver since you have very little room to work, but it only took 10 turns or so to get it in.** Once it's screwed on test the light again!!! Sometimes the wire may come out if you didn't push it in hard enough.Then I lifted the light over one of the bracket clips (I suggest the one that is "closest" to the ceiling hole). If the light cannot "catch" the first clip, then you need to loosen the screw a few turns to allow the bracket to be less flush to the ceiling.Once I got the bracket under one of the clips , I pulled the metal "bracket release" and lifted the other end of the light and push it against the ceiling with some force to ensure it's flat. I then let the catch release go and it grabbed the light... took a few times. The light was then holding nicely and I was done.People complain about the battery cover being hard to put back on. If the wire out of the ceiling is too short then simply put a longer dongle/wire and you should be fine.People also complain about the light not being able to grab the bracket... you cannot use the felt feet and you may have to not tighten the bracket too hard against the ceiling.All in all it took just some care and an extra try or two to get it mounted. A little more effort but for the price it was worth it.

If youhave enough wire coming from the box to make it easy to connect (the fixture had no wires to connect to the house wiring), it would difficult to stuff that wiring back into the box in order to engage the fixture onto the mountin bracket. But, having a shorter amount of wire makes it very difficult to insert wite from the box into the fuxture's connectors, as you must turn the fixture almost 90 degrees to the ceiling in order to see what you're doing. After having finally getting it connected, it was way too bright for our good-sized bathroom. It would be a great light for a large room, other than the difficult hookup. I sent it back. P.S. I accomplished the hook up by first inserting short lengths of wire into the fixtures openings, then, attaching the other ends of thise wires to the relatively short length of wire available from the box. I don't know if I could have gotten the whole mess back in the box to allow the fixture to attach to the mounting bracket, as I tested it before trying to mount it, and it was clearly too bright. I then wnet to Lowe's and bout a similarity-sized LED fixture for about the same price with a conventional hookup. It's not warm white, like the returned one or the fluorescent one I replaced; it's cool white, but looks okay in the bath.

Soms zijn producten gewoon gevaarlijk te noemen. Zo ook deze lamp. De klemmen om het koper van de stroomdraden intern te bevestigen is erg zwak. Bij geringe bewegingen schieten deze al los. Dus lang leven kortsluiting bij deze lamp. Ook het klemmetje met twee schroefjes om de stroomdraden uit het plafond vast te maken aan de lamp is nutteloos. Een gestripte kabel is veel te dun voor de klemmen en zal nooit vast kunnen geklemd worden. Misschien wat isolatie tape om ze dikker te maken? Dus monteer je de lamp, wees extreem voorzichtig dat de draden intern niet los schieten! Mijne gaan gelijk retour helaas.Excuus voor deze negatieve review. Maar soms hoort het erbij.
