If you need a hardline Ethernet this is the most inexpensive choice.
If you need to get ethernet off of a gen 2 Starlink this is a good choice. Plugs in between the dish and the router and will provide a ethernet connection. Worked well although I had performance issues with Starlink and Ubiquiti that probably needs some work. The other method is to add a gen 3 router as a mesh node on to a gen 2 system and you will get connections. This is a better choice for build installs since it is hardwired all the way to the dish.

Allows connection to my TP-Link Mesh
It's unfortunate that Star Link doesn't include an ethernet connection into there router. Keeps there costs down and profits up. I needed this device to connect the Star Link to my TP-Link Mesh router. It was simple to connect and worked without much effort on my part.
