Great for nursing mother dogs, too!
This was purchased in case we needed to bottle feed our newborn puppies. Thank goodness they're all healthy and strong. Poor hard working mama dog is getting huge benefits from adding this to her bowl of morning milk! What she eats and drinks goes to the nursing puppies, so all is good!

Esbilac is SIMPLY THE BEST!!!
This Puppy Milk Replacer by Esbilac is FANTASTIC, I will continue to use as a supplement as recommeded. This stuff is really packed good with nutrients, but my only complaint is their is NO Fiber. The only formula that seems to have a little fiber in it is the 2nd stage(think oatmeal) by Esbilac, but it isnt a very high at 5-7%. I let the Puppies feed from the Mother for 2 Days(to builld up natural immunities) before starting this Formula, which they absolutely loved and needed no extra encouragement to consume. The Puppies started to have issues from lack of fiber, so we added Diggin brand(FIRM UP!- Pumpkin + Cranberry Super Supplement) and that was Perfect to assist.I also use this formula as a general aid when a G.I. problem arises, I mix 1 1/2 Cups Yoghurt/Pudding in a bowl with 1-2 scoops Esbilac Formula, 1-2 tablespoons FIRM UP! SUPER SUPPLEMENT, Pulverized Coconut Macaroons, and 1-2 teaspoons Vanilla extract for extra taste! I know they're very pampered lol, but I dont have kids to spoil... This flavoured Custard is extremely effective at fixing most issues within 6-12 hours easy on a feeding schedule of every 2 hours. The ingredients are as follows... Vegetable Oil(Preserved with Mixed Tocopherol's), Casein, Dried Whey Protein Concentrate, Cream, Dried Skim Milk, Dicalium Phosphate, Potassium Chloride, DL-Methionine, L-Arginine, Dextrose, Maltodextrin's, Lecithin, Choline Chloride, Magnesium Sulfate, Iron Proteinate, Taurine, Riboflavin Supplement, Vitamin A Supplement, Dried Lactobacillus Casei Fermentation Product, Dried L. Fermentum Fermentation Product, Dried L. Acidophilus Fermentation Product, Dried L. Plantarum Fermentation Product, Dried Entercoccus Facium Fermentation Product, Dried Bifidobacterium Bifidum Fermentation Product, Dried Pediococcus Acidilactici Fermentation Product, Niacin Supplement, Fructooligosaccaride, Sodium Silco Aluminate, Copper Proteinate, Vitamin D3 Supplement, Calcium Pantothenate, Vitamin E Supplement, Monopotassium Phosphate, Thiamine Hydrochloride, Pyrodoxine Hydrochloride, Salt, Tricalcium Phosphate, Dipotassium Phosphate, Calcium Iodate, Folic acid, Zinc Sulfate, Manganese Sulfate, Biotin, and Vitamin B12 Supplement.

Buen precio y buena calidad
Le encantó y eso me dió gran alivio. Ya se alimenta solito pero aún así pide leche en la mañana y en la noche antes de acostarse.

A Must-Have Staple for Newborn Puppies
As a family, we foster puppies. Most puppies that are rescued are already compromised, many we get are newborns with eyes still shut. This product has been outstanding in getting bottle-fed babies the nutrients, fluids and calories they need. The mother’s milk is always best, many are not living or unable to produce milk. This product is a must without the mother and we have found no better substitute that newborns can tolerate. As a result it is a great value for the money and in the quality of life puppies can enjoy. It delivers a good consistency that again puppies can easily tolerate with minimal obstruction in the nipple of the bottle. We have been using this product for years and recommend to other often and with success.

Esbilac Puppy Milk Replacer
I gave this 4 stars only for the fact that the milk is in powder form and is very hard to mix with the water. I tried using very hot water and adding a little milk at a time but no matter how I did it it still had lumps of milk that didn't seem to dissolve. Finally I used a bowl with a lid and shook the formula and shook until it seemed to have mixed without lumps. You have to be very careful that the lid is closed tightly on the bowl first and keep 'burping' the lid to let the steam out or else the lid will pop open and you will get hot formula on you...been there done that. Other than that it's like powdered baby formula and you mix it the same. I didn't have this issue though with mixing it. My pups loved the taste though and I would definitely recommend it.

I had a can stored just in case for a worst case scenario
Saved the day! My pomeranian gave birth to two healthy puppies but immediately rejected them due to her own personally health issues. She had a difficult pregnancy and suffered from morning sickness, loss of appetite, and weight loss, which made it nearly impossible to produce enough milk to nurse the babies at delivery. I had a can stored just in case for a worst case scenario, and boy am I glad I did. The babies are now 5 weeks old, chubby little round happy things thanks to the formula, and we've already gone through at least 6 of the 28 oz size cans just for two tiny babies (one was 3oz at birth, the other 5oz, they're now both 2lbs)! Buy more than you think!! Especially if you have large litters or bigger puppies. They'll go through this stuff so fast you'll be ordering daily if you don't stock up.Also, for the mother with the weight loss, as she wasn't nursing and after a vet exam and blood test, we started giving her the formula too to supplement her diet. She's bounced back and gained all her weight back. She still has stress induced anorexia sometimes (picky eater) which can spiral into nausea. In the past this usually ended up causing a half day of vomiting and her refusing food, but now I've found if I give her the formula when her stomach starts to rumble and make squidgy noises, it stops the nausea and the vomiting and perks her right up. Even if she won't eat anything else, for some reason a few drops of formula on the tongue and appetite will come roaring back and she'll suddenly lick the bowl of formula clean. I'm grateful for this product, will always keep a backup can in my pantry from now on.
