Very pleased with the quality of this set. Wasn't sure what to expect but they looked wonderful and held up to being worn two full days in a row with no issues.

So I wore this to a Halloween party this year. I'm an adult, grown man and I hadn't dressed up for Halloween in several years. The quality of the costume was really great. It was well made, sturdy and didn't feel cheap. However, the harness part was a bit complicated to figure out how to assemble and put on and maybe it's just me (I'm not that mechanical) but I thought it could have been a bit simpler. Nevertheless, everything else about the costume was fine. I combined it with a scary face mask for extra effect.

This is not a one size fits all. This will not fit you if you have huge shoulders. The straps are uncomfortable under your arm. So not big person friendly but if your regular size then this should not be a problem for you.

My husband is pretty broad shouldered, but the shoulder piece was so far from buckling we think this might be for kids. Or super slender men. Also, I think maybe ours came with the straps attached incorrectly. There was absolutely no rhyme or reason to buckling things together. The ends did not line up, even when not being worn. Ultimately I had to attach another belt and tuck two ends away that didn’t buckle. Very strange… some instructions would be nice so we at least know if ours is incorrectly made or it attaches in a super weird way. All the other stuff was great, though. It looked awesome on. Be warned - the head scarf will make you sweat like crazy!

The leather was not too stiff and was easily worn for the whole night. I was worried about the straps not being long enough but it was perfect. He wears a large men's shirt size for reference.

The fake leather/material for the shoulder armor smells oddly of fish and is quite stinky. That coupler with the fact that it seems to be designed for the left shoulder. You can wear it for the right it just looks and feels odd. That and the straps/harness for it is honestly more confusing than it ought to be, as other reviews point out. Overall the rest of the accessories are quite nice and decent quality. Hard to find a good shawl and arm bracers for a similar price.

This was a last minute purchase i made for Halloween so i was nervous. It came on time and looked cooler than expected. Got a wig from the dollar store, some leftover felt, and some makeup to throw something together
