Overall, I really like this charger, with a caveat. The cord is not very weighty, and this can be irritating, as it acts kind of bungee cordish rather than just extending to my phone - enough to pull the Pixel off to the side of a magnetic mount. If you stretch the cord out and then attach it to the phone, it will have enough memory of the stretch to not pull on the phone for the length of my driving. And, it then returns to its fully retracted state over the next hours. The stiffness is accentuated in cold weather.

For my preferences, the cable could be 12"'s longer but I really like the coiled aspect. Also the blue light on the front is really bright and distracting when driving in the evening or early morning hours. I like the idea it tells you it's plugged in, but I'm not sure of the necessity. I'd rather have no light than a bright distracting one as my phone itself tells me the unit is working. Charging wise it does fine with no issues.

I've never had a charger fail on me and this one failed at the connection. I could get it to charge if I held the connector "just so" but as soon as I removed my hand it would lose the connection. I double checked every other charger I owned to make sure it wasn't my phone (not.) I still have chargers from my old Galazy 5 that still work. This is terrible unless you're inclined to buy a new one every 2 years.

I bought this in June of 2018 and am writing this review in mid-December of 2018. Earlier this month I noticed that my phone was not charging as quickly as it used to while using this charger. I observed it the next few times I was in the car and it kept connecting and disconnecting. I checked other wires with my phone and found that the issue was this wire and not the charging port on my phone. However, as long as my phone was positioned in the "right" way it would charge. Okay, so that's the first thing. The second thing is that this charger has begun to turn my phone off completely. This is not okay. This happens consistently and I'm about to (unfortunately) throw this thing out as it is relatively useless now. The only plus is that the extra USB thing still works. If anyone is interested in how bright the little blue light is in your car the answer is very.

I was leery of buying this for fear it was just another "dollar store charger" that would not actually charge my phone, or last any time. Thank goodness I took the chance... this charger works GREAT! It delivers power to the phone, and allows my wife to charge her phone, at the same time, without any degradation to my phone. I can use routing apps on the phone, and not have to worry about battery charge-times; as well as truly charge the phone, during the ride home, or to work. I can HIGHLY RECOMMEND this charger; it is well-crafted, and WORKS!

One of the 2 pack doesn't even go into my Pixel XL 2 charging port.Updated on 6/9/18: After submitting this review the company reached out to me to make it right. They sent new chargers that do seem to work so I have changed my rating from a 1 star to a 4 star. Thanks!

Not much to say about general consumables in the electronic accessory department. I changed phones, and of course the old charger didn't fit. Quickly compared a few on Amazon and ordered this one. It was here right on time, and packaged beautifully - could have been presented as-is for a gift if you had someone who was in need of a car charger as a gift. This fits my Samsung Galaxy 8 perfectly and charged the phone while I drove. it was all that I asked of it, and it came through for me.

This car charger works well with one exception and it maybe with my vehicle or the electrics not sure but the tire pressure sensors in the tire and the CPU on the truck for some reason this device and similar devices cause a signal interruption. And you get a fault signal from the tires to the CPU in the vehicle.. I googled this fault code and sure enough that was the issue every time.. we
