This product works. When I take it on workout days, I'm not sore the next day. Two things to note: 1) it will not arrive quickly. It generally takes a couple of weeks to arrive after ordering it. 2) the taste is absolutely terrible. We have the strawberry flavor, and refer to it as "if strawberries could be AI, that's how this tastes." Like, we know what it's supposed to taste like, but if it wasn't labelled, I'd never come up with "strawberry." But it is so worth it. We take it religiously after going to the gym.

2 years ago, I switched from Whey Protein to Perfect Amino and used it routinely immediately after every workout. I had better results with this than Whey proteins. Because of a back injury I was unable to workout the past year and a half and have lost all my gained muscle mass and put on a bunch of weight. Now that my back is healed enough for me to start working out again, Perfect Amino is def going to be a staple in my supplement regimen. I will agree that the taste takes some def getting used to. I found that if i use colder water rather room temp water it tastes better. Also, I found that the berry is def better tasting than the lime. Even though both flavors take some getting used to, I got used to the berry faster than the lime. But since I know the product works, I don’t mind the taste. I just gulp it down either during or immediately AFTER my workout when I am at my most thirsty.

Still experimenting with PerfectAmino, but so far, it’s been pretty great. I love the convenience—no need to mix up a thick shake or haul out the blender, and you’re still getting a solid dose of amino acids that’s supposedly comparable to 30g of protein from whey. That’s a win, especially when you’re short on time or just don’t feel like dealing with protein sludge. The taste? Eh… it’s not terrible, but definitely on the sweet side—kind of like it’s trying a little too hard to be liked. I don’t think it needs to be that sweet, honestly. Still, it’s effective and easy to work into a routine, which makes it a keeper for now.

I think for how much everyone complains about the taste of EAA's that this rasberry one would be a better fit for some people. I think it is an older version of it because they are making a different blend now, so I've been grabbing this as long as I can while it is still available. I think the taste is fine, but I take it like quick shot then brush my teeth after. For those of you that state it has a bad after taste, brush your teeth after. All EAA's taste bitter, but they are so good for you it is worth it so just grin n bear it!

I purchased the mocha flavored aminos to mix with my morning coffee. This could be a great product -- it's made with clean ingredients and dissolves easily in hot drinks, BUT the taste is terrible. Wayyyyy tooooo much stevia -- in fact, stevia is only "flavor" here, instead of "mocha". No way this product passed a taste test in R&D. I tried increasing fluid ounces to powder ratio and it just tasted like I dumped too much stevia in my coffee. If you love a heavy stevia aftertaste, this is your product. Even though I'm very disappointed, I may try the unflavored amino option IF it excludes stevia; otherwise, I'm moving away from the entire product line.

It's expensive, so I've paid close attention to the effectiveness of this product. We've tried other flavors, and Strawberry seems to be the best. The first couple of days using it, my stomach was a little upset, but not all all after first using it a few months ago.It definitely helps with muscle fatigue and endurance. During and after long hikes or workouts, there is less achiness and tiredness. I can also workout on an empty stomach if necessary and if I've taken a scoop before my workout. I typically only use one scoop a day, but occasionally two if I have a heavier exercise day.The cost if still something I weight out carefully, and delays in shipping, but worth it for now.
