It is very thin and for sure will not last outside on the patio/pool area after a couple of rain showers. You must also put together and the string it comes with comes apart as you try to stick through the small holes. I ended up having to go buy some nylon string at the dollar store. Didn't want to spend much because like I said it won't last.

I love this sign , I had to put it together. Once it was together, I put it buy the pool . It looks great kids love it !!

I have this hanging on the fence by the pool. They are smaller than I expected and you have to fasten it securely at the top and bottom or the wind will wreak havoc with it. I’ll be surprised if it survived the summer, I’ll keep my fingers crossed.Update-It did not survive the summer. All the word are peeling off and it’s only July. Piece of junk.

It's a bit smaller than we expected but still usable. The wood this is on probably won't last more than one or 2 seasons and the string/twine it comes with is very cheap and unravels easily. We used another twine we had that is much better quality and makes it easier to put together. We'll keep it up as long as it lasts but will not order again. We don't recommend this.

Let me say that the item is super cute!! It's a little smaller that the measurements given, but I can live with that. The downside for me was the material it's made from. It's a very thin piece of wood, and not very durable. I guess I was expecting some type of metal like the signs I ordered.
