Worked
My a/c was blowing hot air.Bought this sensor and replaced and it started blowing cold air again.Would definitely recommend this AC Delco sensor.I had bought a different brand for my GMC and only lasted a few months. It stoped working.Shouldve bought this brand the first time. This is definitely value for the money.

Good quality.
When I installed mine, I did not notice that one of the connector plug-ins from the A/C electromagnetic clutch had been pushed out and was not making contact. This was not the fault of the switch; it's something that occasionally happens with older car wiring. After fully charging the A/C system with refrigerant, the compressor still had not kicked on. The clutch was brand new, it had gas, so my buddy got his flashlight and took a closer look, saw the pushed back connector, reattached it to the correct pin. We cut the car on again and the compressor came on and started cooling the car immediately. The point - with electrical devices in cars, simple things like loose plugs in dark places can derail your project if you don't check everything with a strong light, before wasting time tearing the compressor or alternator, or whatever out, or taking it to a shop.

OEM ACDelco-GM Part - Cured my A/C On&Off Malfunction
ACDelco/GM part in factory plastic bag (Made in Mexico) appears almost identical to original. The 14mm hexagonal body looks like silvery plastic, but may be some light metal. The original part body is gray metal. Removal and installation very easy. BUT NOT included is required new HNBR O-ring that fits over the threaded fastener on the High Pressure tubing. My research shows said O-ring is GM 153-592 or Interchange 03093509. FYI: I also replaced the Schrader valve core located inside the threaded fitting of High Pressure tubing with GM3041827/ACD15-1119

AC component
Can’t be OEM, tried a cheaper, Amazon Chinese brand and AC still didn’t work. Send it back. Replaced it with the OEM one and problem solved. Spend the extra money so you don’t have to waste your time like I did.

The switch and disable your air conditioning
Chevrolet has a Schrader valve on the fitting so there’s no need to recover refrigerant. The switch was a 10 minute install. Air conditioner works normally now.

Leaks! Don’t waste your money!
Pardon the poor quality pics, but I wanted to show the UV dye photos. First photo shows AC oil seeped into the pin area, second photo shows sensor was leaking out at the 9 o’clock position. This sensor was purchased last summer for a project vehicle last summer and just put into service 3 weeks ago. The $15 Chi-com replacement was installed this morning, and it DOESN’T leak.
