AMAZING!!!!!
These sets are AMAZING!!!!! I purchased BOTH the 72 piece set and the set with the wooden pot, measuring cup, s & p shaker etc. We got these for our 2.5 yo daughter for Christmas this year. It's the 24th, so obviously, she doesn't have them yet. They were bought to go with her big gift...a play kitchen. I will update on or after the big day with her opinions and how they hold up bc she is VERY hard on things! Our impressions...Quality is wonderful. We didn't mind the price at all. All of the paint is perfect on both sets with no spots and all of the points on the pot and other dishes are perfect and tight (like the handles). The "S" and the "P" on the shakers is on the right way too. No cracks, or spaces in the wood.I actually contacted the company via email. I went to order these sets and they were unavailable. Their Customer Service was wonderful! They emailed me back almost immediately and let me know when they were restocking on Amazon, and even sent me an email the night before restock to let me know they were restocking early & what time they would be available to purchase! That was really nice...the next morning, there they were...right when the email said they would be. They were really nice and helpful. The 72 piece set comes in a really nice storage cylinder and all of the food is individually wrapped. Great way to keep them from rubbing or chipping the paint on each other during shipping. I took a few pieces out to inspect...all appeared perfect and the magnets work beautifully. The magnets were one of the reasons we decided to get these sets. We have some Velcro wooden cutting food, and the Velcro gets dirty and junked up, which causes them to kind of loose some of it's "stick" and doesn't ever really stick the food together tight from the get go. Magnets take care of those issues. The magnets hold the food together tight, but not so tight that you can't easily and effortlessly cut them apart with the knives. There's Dragon Fruit, and other *healthier* food items like leeks represented that you don't find in many sets. I love that this has grapes too! The size of the grapes could pose an issue with younger children that like to put things in their mouths. But that's easily remedied by putting the grapes away until they are age/child appropriate. Everything else is fine. It really is all about each individual child and what the parent thinks is best. I would keep this as an over age 2 gift though...my personal opinion. As far as knowing the correct names for all the foods in the 72 piece set, one of the photos on the item shows you what everything is. I took a screenshot and there...I think some of these are used more in Asian cooking, but that's fine with me. I love that some less used foods (healthy) are represented in our instant gratification fast food culture! The set with the pot, measuring cup etc....same quality...perfect! We inspected each piece as some of the other reviewers cited some quality control issues, especially with the pot, measuring cup, and salt & pepper shakers. Ours were all perfect. No cracks, paint smudges, or gaps, and everything was tight (handles, etc). Again, every piece was individually wrapped and sent inside a sturdy box with a nice wooden serving tray that doubles as a storage box. It's well sanded and smooth, no rough or splinterd edges. I love that it comes with asparagus and the measuring cup, and that the s & p shakers actually make noise!!!All in all...these 2 products are most definitely worth their price! Our daughter is going to LOVE these sets! She got an Easter egg bucket & pretends it's her grocery basket and puts things in it (from the pantry lol) and she pretends to cook. I know this will be a huge hit with her. I will update after tomorrow morning to add her impression! You will not regret buying either or both of these sets....I'm sure they will provide countless hours of imaginative play and fun for our daughter (and maybe her big brother too...though he may never admit it 😉). Her daddy and I will be playing hours with her too...we will be happy to "eat" and play with whatever her growing imagination serves up...and these sets will provide more than enough for her to pull from. LOVE BOTH SETS!!!!***UPDATE- January 27, 2018***So, a little over a month of play, and both of these sets are still PERFECT! Our daughter loves them too. She has played with all of these products so much...and not one has broken. She drops the pot, or the lid...and drops the food too. No paint chips have come off of anything...the handles and knob on the pot and its lid have stayed tight...no separation or loosening at all. The magnets are wonderful. None of those have come out, gotten loose or anything either. If anything breaks, or if we have any issues with any piece of these sets...I will update again, but I don't anticipate any problems whatsoever. The little grocery bag and the apron that came with the 72 piece set have also help up beautifully. She uses them many times throughout the day and I haven't seen any strings nor any loose stitching anywhere on either item. The ladle is fine too. Every piece that came with the pot set is perfect...and believe me...they have all been dropped many times. We have hardwoods, tile, and finished concrete floors so...they aren't being dropped onto carpet...it's onto hard floors. Not one thing has broken or come loose. No splintering on the wooden dishes at all either. The storage cylinder and lid for the 72 piece set are still in excellent condition too. We are still extremely happy with these two sets. Our daughter loves them...and her big brother sits down to play with her...even he likes the sets haha! We definitely highly recommend these sets...they are definitely worth the price! A 2.5 yo is the best tester for quality control...and she has put all of the pieces from both sets through the ringer...and they all pass with flying colors. She is more than happy with these toys...and that's the most important thing! They are very well made...and will make your littles happy too!

Amazing Quality For A Great Price!
I absolutely love this set! I bought these as a birthday gift for my 3 year old son. He has a 10 year old Melissa and Doug velcro set that belonged to my daughter and I wanted to get him something fresh and new.I picked this set because it has magnets instead of velcro and I liked the fact that there were unique pieces that you don’t normally see in sets like these, like dragon fruit and a leg of meat. The quality is beyond my expectations! I love the detail and the variety. The colors are beautiful and the magnets are strong and subtle. I love that the grapes hang and pull off just like the real thing! My son’s favorite is the tomato. He carries it around everywhere. As an added bonus, everything came in a sturdy bucket with a handle for easy storage and all the pieces came individually wrapped. He also received a small set of velcro food from his grandparents, that was sold by a different company and I’m so happy I went with this particular set. The velcro isn’t nearly as strong as the magnets and all the pieces aren’t as detailed. I added two photos comparing the kiwi and the watermelon of the different sets. This is definitely at the top of my list as a holiday gift for my niece and nephew!

Excellent learning tool for lifelong healthy eating!
I gave these to my two toddler boys to go with a kitchen set for Christmas. They love it! These magnetized sections will keep working long after a Velcro set looses its locking ability. The foods are durable because they are wood. Though my boys stir, dump (and sometimes throw) the pieces daily, the paint still looks great. I am also prepared to maintain the paint with touch up as they ware over the coming years. Right now there is just one little chip in the stem on the tomato which I could fix if it becomes much worse. I am a nutritionist and love the variety of vegetables that come in this set. They have many of the ingredients that I use in daily cooking so they can make what I make. The variety also prompts them to look for vegetables included in this play set at the grocery store and farmers markets. They also use matching skills to put the food sections back together, plus fine and gross motor skills to cut. This food set also came with an apron and a fabric shopping bag so we practice shopping for ingredients and keeping food prep sanitary. I highly recommend this product.

Very cute & very pleased with the set!
The media could not be loaded. I recently threw away some old plastic Velcro cutting food because the Velcro was disgusting and barely stuck together anymore anyway. Cue an epic meltdown from my daughter who still wanted it for the cutting experience, so I told her I'd find a replacement. This set was the winner! It's all so cute!I really love the idea of using the magnets, and while there are a few different sets out there, this is the only one I saw with the grapes. I was impatient at first, but if you take the time to line the magnets up on the grapes and the vine, it actually works better than I thought. So cute! 🍇Definitely one of the cutest and fullest sets out there! I can't say much about durability yet because I'm saving this for a gift. Not sure if all of these buckets come without a lid or if mine was missing, but some of the contents had spilled into the shipping box. It didn't damage anything, and the wood seems to be solid and sturdy, but I thought it might still be worth noting. For this reason, I took a star off for giftable.Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase!
