115mm 4.5 Inch Strip Discs Stripping Discs Rust Remover Wheel Remove Paint and Oxidation Poly Strip Wheel Disc Abrasive Angle Grinding Wheel - 5 Pack(Purple)

Have 32 lengths of reclaimed Victorian cast iron guttering to strip for a renovation project. Have tried wire wool and also hired a needle scaler to get the lumps off. These are the best of all though, and strip the paint and rust off really well, and quickly - without damaging the underlying surface.They are not too noisy, but it is still worth using ear defenders. Do use a mask though as so much is stripped that it goes everywhere. A slight issue is durability - as they probably only do 2 or 3 lengths before they are shot, but then they are pretty cheap over all. If you are using the edge of the disc to get into a corner then they can wear out quicker, but the pack of ten should sort the entire job for me, which is well worth the cost. Because of their shape, they don't get everywhere, so there are bits that I will still have to tackle with wire brushes, but overall - these do a fantastic job for a very reasonable price.

Really like these. They strip rust and paint off metal better than anything I've come across. Really quick and efficient.

One side of a car with bottom of sealing took me 3 disks. Flat surface get clean to bare metal really great but any little holes and pitting caused by rust stays unclean.

I used these to strip paint and rust from some old railings and they worked a treat. They strip quickly down to bare metal and don’t damage the metal. Where I accidentally skimmed the the surface of a tile there were no marks. They lasted much longer than I imagined - one disc about 50% used and one about 10% used with an hour or so of two of us working away. I’ve not used any others to make a comparison with, but at this price I’m very happy with these.

These are my new favourite attachment. They remove rust, or paint and then leave a very clean smooth finish ready for undercoatThey have replaced my flapwheels for that kind of jobI am only buying these from now on.Pretty sure these are a game changer for most people

Took a risk trying these out to quickly remove multiple layer of paint from wood.Have to say they exceeded expectations. They made light work of the task, saving me time.

Worked a treat stripping rust off a fixer-upper and did pretty well with stripping some heavy paint layers off of wood-highly recommended.

I grabbed this particular item because it was a multi-pack at a good price that seemed durable. I was skeptical because I had quickly burned through another brand similar item I'd purchased locally. So I thought I'd need a lot.I was wrong! I almost finished my entire job with just one disc. I used it in my angle grinder to sand/polish a brick fireplace I'm refinishing. Highly recommend, great value and very durable.

I had a curved rusty surface to clean on big tractor wheel bead seating areas and these worked well. You will use some up doing the job but cleaned up the surface really well.

I used them on my rusty bumper. Took off a good amount of rust and paint. I used two discs on the bumper so they are very durable. A good price for the probuct

I used these to strip stucco off a concrete retaining wall. Sounds crazy but these were the only thing that worked. They wore down fast but lasted long enough to get my job done.

Removes paint and rust with ease. Will buy again.
