After reading a number of reviews on similar products, I was apprehensive on what the quality of item would ultimately be. First, the table and chairs are somewhat light compared to the $1000 plus sets, but the quality for the price was excellent. The powder coat finish was glossy and every inch of ithe table and chairs were covered. They even supplied vinyl covers for each of the nuts. There was no small umbrella hole cover, but I didn't expect one. Second, those reviews of similar products that complain about how long it takes to assemble are misleading and not applicable to this product. I assembled it under an hour and a half. The assembly was extremely easy. There are a lot of washers and nuts, which creates the amount of time to assemble, but ultimately they gave a very tight fit. People need to realize that if it came more assembled it would cost much more because it would not be compact to ship--that's the trade off. Third, there is no accurate net weight info on this item in the description so I will give it to you. Each chair weighs 13.5 lbs and the table weighs 28 lbs according to the boxes. Also, there are levelers on the chair and table feet. Overall, if you want a good quality and lower cost cast aluminum patio table and chairs, this set is for you.

I have a vacation home in Florida and I bought 2 sets for the pool area. Surprisingly comfortable enough but the aluminum gets hot in the Florida sun. No cushions to worry about and no glass to clean which is great for me. The sets are attractive and a nice bronze color. It took 2 of us quite a bit of time to assemble with lots of screws, bolts, washers, and nuts. Easy enough once you do the first one. I suggest separating and organizing all the parts first. Tools come with but I would use a socket set and screwdriver to tighten bolts. Plenty of spare parts. Tables have feet for leveling.

I ordered this since I needed to replace an existing patio set, needed a relatively compact size, and wanted something different than the existing wooden set that I've used for 10+ years. I was apprehensive, based on the price, but the out of box quality seems fine. It is a matte black color, but isn't a dull finish.The set comes disassembled in three boxes (2 chairs in each of 2 boxes, plus table in 3rd box). Assembly took me about 2 1/4 hours solo - although some of that included getting the right tools. The last chair was much faster than the first, as these things usually go. Each fastener used a flat washer and a split washer, a nut (not a lock nut), and a plastic cap. They provided a screwdriver and a small wrench with each piece (so 10 tools in total). The wrenches work (10mm and 14mm box out of stamped metal), but the screwdriver was a Phillips #1, and the screws are #2, so I used a "real" screwdriver, plus a ratchet, and a small wrench for the smaller nuts on the chair arms.Each of the feet (table and chairs) have a screw-type leveler. Since my patio is graded, this was a nice touch.The instructions were a little brief, but weren't hard to follow. I just took it slow and carefully so I wouldn't strip any studs/nuts and didn't want to over-tighten and break anything.All of the parts fit together well. The table legs and the chair arms used slots to make for easier alignment.Everything was wrapped in bubble wrap, surrounded by styrofoam. This made a giant mess, of course, but nothing was damaged or scratched during shipping.I look forward to using it. Certainly not as nice as the $2K sets, but a fraction of the price. And should be plenty durable.

The quality of the table and chairs is very nice. Assembly was pretty straight forward. The key to proper assembling is not to overtighten the fasteners or the threads might strip (remember, this is aluminum). I used a few drops of blue loctite thread-locker on every fastener to prevent loosening and tightened them just beyond "snug". No need to make them gorilla-tight. Comfort is decent for a cast chair with the concave surfaces. We added seat cushions, which made a huge difference. The patterns and slots look great and allow water to drain thru, but they can make it a bit tough for narrow glasses to stand without wobbling when placed on the table. I suggest using a tray or coasters if you have wine glasses on it. Be careful, as the table and chairs can get quite hot to the touch after a while in full sunlight, though not as hot as cast iron (all the more reason for cushions). Overall, we're very happy with this set.

This is a very attractive set. Assembly , especially if you have assembled furniture before, is fairly simple. A small piece was missing so I contacted customer service. Best customer service I have ever encountered.

The price was great! The set is pretty sturdy. But its hollowed out at certain places which makes it look cheaper. I just got the set put together and Im putting it out on the porch now so I dont know yet if it will stand the test of time. But for the price of 400.00 it seems to be a good value.

Yes it was time consuming putting together but it was worth it. The ad was a little misleading on the weight so just know it comes in 3 separate boxes and each box is like 20 lbs… not 20 lbs total like it reads. They sent more than enough pieces too.
