You have to read the fine print to see that it is a different chapter
READ THIS: I bought the wrong thing at first because I assumed that 3 followed 2. It does not. The book is labeled by chapters. The first book in the series was chapter 1 part 1. Next came chapter 1 part 2. The third book is chapter 2 part 1. It's confusing because the numbers on the spine go 1, 2, 1. You have to read the fine print to see that it is a different chapter. By the way, the book 3 that I had originally purchased was in a light novel series and not manga at all.

Re zero!! Diffrent artist for this brutal arc!
You'll get a different feel with the art compared to the first arc here as it is a new artist similar to the when they cry Manga they are having a unique artist for every arc this one covering the misfortune subaru encounters at the mansion! Pick it up look how nice it looks! :)

Could have been better
I am having very mixed feelings having final read this volume. Before reading, I hadn't even noticed that this volume was illustrated by a different person than who did the first arc - a day in the capital. To start, the opening color pages are beautiful. And set a dark tone that suits this arc. But directly after that, we are treated to a highly condensed recap of the previous arc. This is only the third manga volume, how is a recap necessary? This completely breaks the flow of the story as it transitions. Additionally, you'll notice right away that the character designs are different being from a different illustrator. Elsa is drawn with excessively large breasts, and even Emilia is treated to this new system. This style of fan service drawing want really in the first two volumes, and it persists throughout this one - with a few choice frames of Emilia and Beatrice, and a tentacle frame with Rem and Ram. Some of the dialogue already happened in the first two volumes, where the source material intended, but it is used in this volume as if appearing for the first time where it is completely out of place. I don't really understand why they would change who was in charge of these works so soon.Along with character designs, I feel Fuugetsu completely misses nearly every Emilia reaction and/or facial expression, especially compared to how spot on Matsuse's Emilia was. Fuugetsu makes Emilia overly snooty and fails to convey the pure feelings she displays the way Matsuse did. Rem and Ram look good, but I feel Matsuse would have done better there as well. I think Beatrice and Roswaal are the best parts of this volume as they both look really good and their personalities showed through very well.Aside from the character designs deviations, the art is still really good. There are some fantastic frames with very nice detail, but I didn't like Fuugetsu's overly fan service toned images as a whole. The overall story is what it should be with small changes. I love Re:Zero. I've bought every book released to date and loved every bit of the anime. There series is 5 stars to me. The light novels are 5 stars and the previous two volumes of the manga are 5 stars. But if Fuugetsu remains the future of the manga adaptation, just stick with the light novels.

Change of artist not the best option
I love Re zero it’s my favorite light novel and one of my top 10 anime but it’s manga adaptation started looking promising on volume 1 ,however the artist in charge of adapting the LN to manga on this arc makes it hard for me, Re zero LN may not be the most cutting edge, thrilling mystery but this manga exaggerated with the amount of forced comedy, the arts is not as good as volume 1 but I still enjoyed it
