my grandson (2) gets a lot of toys from doting grandparents. and because he is only 2, i didn't want to gift him these toys with choking hazards, but i did want to entice him with his love for animals. so i bought a canvas bag with cheetahs printed on it and put 6 animals inside. the first time i visited him, he was excited to see what was in the bag. we played with them for over an hour. the names, the sounds, the colors, the sizes (big, small), the number of feet, the body parts....and the animals were a great size for his hands. the animals climbed and they fell. and i made sure nothing went into his mouth. when it was time for this gramma to leave, she took the bag and the animals with her. now, sometimes when i stop by to visit i have the canvas bag with me. and sometimes there is a new animal inside. while he had always seen these animals in 2D, seeing them in 3D has had a big impact on him. i picked this group of animals because i liked the selection. since then i have purchased schleich animals and find they are comparable to this group.

We attached these Safari animals to rocks to hide in a childrens park! Their goal was to find six animals, then take a picture of the small child that was on Safari with their finds, then re-hide them in the park. They had such a great time! These animals were so special, so lifelike!

These toys look very real and my baby loves them. There are few things I dislike about this set. First of all, there are some paint issues. For example, a lion has a black mark on his body. It’s not critical, but very visible. Some of figures are pretty heavy. So when my baby throws them around it might hurt. Also the giraffe is not stable and does not stand on its feet as one of the legs is shorter than another. Overall me and my baby like this set. We have a lot of fun with that.

This is my second Ericoo animal set. The kids wanted to add more animals to their collection. Just the like in the first set, all the animals are proportionately sized and the details in the shapes and paint are very well done! With the exception of the Giraffe, the rest of the animals stand on their own. They are made of solid hefty plastic unlike other toys which can be hollow inside. This 6-piece farm animal set includes: An Elephant, Giraffe, Cheetah, Lion, Rhino and Zebra. Two of the giraffe’s legs were bend a little so it has a hard time standing on its own. The kids said they don’t mind taking care of / playing with a sick giraffe, lol. They like all of the animals and want more! I assume I’ll be posting another review soon for a different variety set once they pick another one they want.. Hope this helps.

I bought these animals while it was on a lightning deal around Christmas time. My 2 year old loves these! When you hold these little animals in your hands, you’ll notice right away that these are heavy and very good quality! They honestly don’t even seem like toddler toys. I was honestly a little scared to give these to him, because like mist toddlers, he tends to throw his toys sometimes (especially when he’s mad.... I’m trying to get him to stop doing this..) I was scared that he was going to break these little animals because they feel/look like such good quality to me! But, just to let you all know... he has thrown these, stepped on them (ouch!!), sat on them, and pretended like they were stomping around on a table. They haven’t chipped, broken, or anything. Outstanding quality toys!!

My 6 year old grandson loves animals and I love these because of the quality. Amazingly realistic detail. They are very sturdy and durable and I like that they have a nice weight to them. These will last a long time!

So I really didn't want to spend the money on schlichy or whatever that expensive brand is everyone raves about. So I searched for a good alternative and I found it! These animal sets are very well made, little to no lines showing were the pieces were put together. They are heavy and solid. My 2 year old plays rather rough with them and they are fine, no chipping. He also loves playing with them in the shower and bathtub and they have held up super well through all of this.

These are very nicely made and decorated except the giraffe will not stand up on its own without manipulating the legs a lot. Also some of the plastic is kind of flexible and softer and I think it would be possible for a child to gnaw it off or snap it off and it would pose a choking hazard. It is not as well made or the quality plastic (that is good for toddlers) as the Learning Resources farm animals I bought. I think the company should replace the giraffe with one that stands on its own.
