Worked great for my tube-bending project
I purchased the Antstone 1/2" tubing bender to help with installing an aftercooler on my Quincy air compressor, and for possible future projects. The tool did an excellent job bending some 1/2" O.D. x .032" wall copper tubing. This is the flexible type of tubing, NOT the rigid type purchased in straight lengths. I was impressed with the quality of the tool, and its performance. The angle markings are clear and accurate. You should bend just slightly past the angle you need, to allow for the small amount of spring-back of the metal. Also, I recommend a slow, steady movement of the handle, to allow the metal to be displaced without tearing or crushing. My only small complaint would be that the handles could be longer, to give more leverage while bending. If you have weak arms, you might also want to order a set of dumbbells with the bender, to bulk up a bit ahead of time :-)

Great tool. Great price
I have an older air compressor that wasn’t building pressure fast enough. Pulled it apart to find that the copper line from the piston to the tank was split. Said copper line was a discontinued item from the manufacturer. This bender allowed me to bend at tight detailed angles to recreate the tubing and was able to get my compressor back to running.

Great for bending lineset
Well, I tried to bend a lineset by hand. That was an instant disaster. I did some quick research on bending tools and decided to try this out. It worked perfectly for my use case. Made easy bend without kinking the copper. Saved my install.

Pleasantly surprised
It worked exactly as it was supposed to. The plastic wheels were fine. The tool was sturdy. It did the job and is ready to do more.

Great idea -- Terrible execution
The rollers are a GREAT idea. Unfortunately the rollers are two different sizes, and I don't understand why. The first roller to contact the tubing is the correct size, and would seem to make a perfect bend. Unfortunately, the roller that does the actual bending is purposely undersized and therefore flattens the outer bend of the tubing. I tried to swap the rollers, but the larger one won't fit in place of the smaller one. Again, good idea, but lousy execution.

no scale on handle
not a 60 dollar value tool , bends ok , not sure of life of rollers ,no scale on handle makes multi-bend a effort for tight work (panel ) . where bend distance counts not your tool

Great for bending 1/2" Type L copper pipe
This has been working great to bend copper while re-plumbing the house. Faster than soldering in a bend and less prone to leaks.

Very smooth
It worked well for me, no kinks on full 90 degree bends that I made. I needed something that I could make accurate clean bends for a mini split I was installing.I would recommend.

Ensure You Purchase a Spring Tube Bender
1/2" ID piping is thick - you can't just stick it in this device and bend it without getting kinks. You need to buy a 12.7mm OD B Type Spring Tube Bender in order to bend without kinks. Make sure you have spare copper to practice bending with because it's not as straightforward as you think

Great bender at a fraction of the cost
I have been in the refrigeration and HVAC trade for 15 +years now and I have used some other more expensive benders and this one at a fraction of the cost works much better ! I was kinda skeptical at first when I unboxed it and seen that the rollers are made of plastic. I used it on a job the other day and wow I was impressed. The roller design works awesome! Other than the rollers the build quality is very good. The die and handles seem rugged and I'm sure will last my lifetime. Even though the rollers are made of plastic , I still feel this is 5 star piece of equipment . I do plan on making my own rollers out of metal on the lathe just because I like doing fun upgrades .
