My mom loves her lucky cat. This is a typical plastic solar decoration. The lucky cat’s arm waves.

Cute. As advertised. Doesn't wave on cloudy days, but does on sunny, even when not in exactly direct sunlight. Plastic, but that's OK for the price. Would buy more as gifts for kids. Comes with a little black sticky (not adhesive, just that plastic goo like the stretchy hands you'd get out of gumball machines that sticks to everything, so it's removable.) mat so it won't slide around.

The media could not be loaded. We have other Neko cats and they worked fine but the one we got is defective or bc of the placement of the sun panel it’s harder to catch the light? Or just defective. Packaging was in good shape when it arrived.

I have a white cat, so this caught my eye. I bought it for a fourteen year old for Christmas. It was smaller than I expected, but that just added to the cuteness factor. Before I wrapped it, I selfishly tried it out. As soon as it hit sunlight, it activated. Now that Christmas is over, I may just buy one for myself. Wiley (my cat) and I could use some extra good luck this year. It is a very good value for the money.

The internal mechanism melted in the summer sun its still on my dash but it no longer waves

Cute and not gaudy (gold-splashed) version. Good value. The solar panel needs a reasonable amount of natural sunlight to run this -- light even from incandescent bulbs close by don't cut it. Also, if I may, the back legs r oddly splayed to me.

Friendly and happy waving - doesn't need much sun to start itself
