Love it!
So glad I ordered this to go along with my bike. Snaps together easily, adjusts and there’s plenty of room to work!

Assembly Requires a Little Finesse
I got these extensions for my fitdesk 3.0 & knew to get the extensions with the cup holder on the left extension. The three tabs on each side did NOT slide into the slots on the desk. I took a furniture clamp with soft plastic jaws and slowly pressed the extension tabs into place. I see where others have had good luck with WD-40 or lithium spray lubricant on the tab surfaces. The coffee mug holder (slotted for the cup handle) holds a cup securely, but I have to wait until I'm saddled up to put a cup in place if it is anywhere near full. The side to side jostling when swinging a leg across the bike will easily spill a lot of coffee/tea very quickly. The cup holder is on the left, so right handed riders may have to haul a cup over their keyboard/tablet for each sip. Drinks and electronics are a shaky combination in most situations, anyway. The desk is stable with the extensions firmly seated on the tabs. Total width with the extensions in place is 32 inches, too wide to be maneuverable through some tight doors. The tightness of the mounting tabs discourages frequent removal and replacement of the extensions. For my situation I could use only the right side if I had a tight doorway. Canned beverages rarely give me a problem in the high friction desk surface, and would work on the right side only. Overall, I'm happy with the product. I had hoped to get it at a better price, but Fitdesk has little competition in this price range and I know this more useful setup will encourage me to spend more time exercising while computing or watching the boob tube. The included mouse pad is a really useful add-on because it bridges the seam between the main desk and the extensions, allowing me to use a mouse in place of the jumpy touchpad on my Logitech K400+ wireless keyboard.

Great but limit portability
These are great but make it too wide to roll through a standard interior doorway. Based on plastic tabs used to keep these locked in place, I am weary to take them on and off repeatedly.

Functional
These were not hard at all to install if you watch the video on the product page. These attachments add considerable surface area to the desktop. I don't love that the cup holder is on the left, since I'm right-handed. The slit for a coffee mug handle is a thoughtful touch, but is there really anyone who drinks hot coffee while working out? Left-handed, no less? (So your right hand is free to type?) That's some serious multi-tasking! Sadly, the attachments are not sturdy enough to reliably bear the weight of heavy books or someone pressing down hard to write. My greatest wish, besides the cup holder being on the right, is that the flaps could fold down so they don't take up extra space while not in use.

#1 tip for installing The extensions
I had the same problem installing The extensions so many others have. Only one tab on each extension would go in. The rest were stuck and wouldn't seat...until I discovered the ultimate secrete. Lithium lubricating spray! Just one squirt on each tab did the trick. Of course, I have a feeling other lubricants would work just as well. My desk is now wide enough to comfortably fit my wireless keyboard and mouse, so I can work in front of my desktop monitors as I pedal away. It even had a cupholder. I never drink in my office, but maybe now I will. Yay!

Adds enough space for a work space, a must have!
Bought the FitDesk while working from home, and this extension kit really provides enough space for the bike to be a feasible option. I appreciate having enough desk space for a clipboard, a water cup, and my phone as well as the original desk for my laptop. I originally didn’t think the variable stand would be useful but I actually love it, and as it takes away most of the desk space, so now there’s room for my other necessities. If you’re using this desk while working it’s totally worth every penny to buy the extensions.

Get a mallet
This is not easy to install unless you have the upper body strength of a gorilla.

bulky and too many joints and flimsy Very disappointed with the seller. He did not even refund me the whole amount even after paying for the postage. He cheated me. Never recommend this him to anyone. Never had issues with any body before. This was a very bad experience.

It fits just right and is very stable. I appreciate the cup holder and more room. In future they should add a ledge or rim across the bottom to keep items from slipping. It does not happen alot but occasionally.

Exactly as expected.

Don't buy it. And don't even think about contacting customer support; they'll erase what little hope you still have for humanity.

I bought this product because I want more room for my labtop and mouse, but I battled with it for about a hour with it because it always dropped and wont fit in the slots. At the end, I finally managed to fix it to the bike, by hammering it through a thick towel, yet it is still not totally fixe in. And it is now impossible for me to remove it unless I totally smashed the table. If it was easier to fix it or to remove it from the table of the bike, it would be a good product.
