EXCELLENT customer service. I attempted to cancel because it was too large for the area needed. However, I built from a 4x6 to a 5x8 patio and this arrived almost 4 days before scheduled. I would buy again from this seller without question.

I weaved the entire roof with lawn chair strips before putting the cover over it. It helped. The heavy rain rolls off and the sagging fabric stays flat/ this manufacture needs to send plywood or plexiglass to secure to the roof before they can earn 5 stars. It’s an inexpensive solution to a cover for the back door. You also need to use blocks to raise it above the door.

I was looking for something small enough to provide some coverage for my small deck. Living in the inner city shade is a luxury. I was happy to find this. As you can see from the photo, it’s more than a grill gazebo. It was not as easy to put together as I thought. BEWARE of the poles!! 🤗 I partially read the instructions and wasn’t aware that there were two different sizes. I learned that the hard way. 😔Also, it’s a little flimsy and will most likely fall over with strong winds. We used zip ties to secure it. We shall see. 🤞🏾At any rate, I’m happy with it. I also purchased the plastic tarp which keeps my patio furniture dry. It has rained twice and it works. I love that! I deducted two stars due to the price. I purchased mine for $219. Two days later the price was $149. That’s highway robbery. If I hadn’t put together, I would had returned it and repurchased it. There should be a policy to price match within a few days of purchased.

Got it makes it easy to come home to and when it’s raining you don’t get wet

I bought this a few years ago back. I really liked it when I got it. I live in southern California where it gets really hot. Unfortunately the canopy got shredded. I called to find out if I could buy a replacement and they told me no. So I’m completely disappointed and I’ve been trying to find a 5 x 8 replacement canopy which is near to impossible.

I spent a lot of time researching a canopy/pergola set up that would fit on my very small deck and be somewhat easy for me to build. I live in an urban area with very little privacy. I had hoped this pergola would provide shade, privacy, and a place to relax with friends. The assembly instructions were not clear and were hard to follow. About two hours in, one of the key supporting iron bars literally tore apart from the frame. I tried to keep it all going by using some packing tape to temporarily hold it together, but the thing was clearly doomed at that point. I literally spent about five hours trying to get this thing put together and ended up just taking the broken bits apart and putting them back in the box.I reported that the item was defective and broke during assembly to The Sportsmans Guide. They told me that they can't refund me unless I ship the heavy broken thing back to them. They told me they'd send me a FedEx label in a week and to ship it back to them. The FedEx label has yet to arrive (2 + weeks) and in the meantime, this thing likes like a rusting hulk on my deck.If I had more experience reading crappy no-word furniture assembly diagrams and assembling furniture, this thing might have been a little easier. Also, if somewhere in the print instructions or in the Amazon listing it was noted that this is a two person project and not a one person project, I could have planned ahead better and not found myself trying to balance a bunch of metal bars while simultaneously trying to connect them to each other.If you decide to order this item, set aside a good chunk of time to assemble, make sure you have a friend to help, and don't expect any help or a refund from the seller when the thing breaks.

Very nice just what I needed for summer

Installed wheels to move around in the yard.It made a great portable shade this summer.Modified top by adding extra ribs (PEX tubing) to stop water from pooling on canopy when it rains. Good value, can not vouch for the durability of the canopy over winter in the NW.
