Fantastic product, I’ve been using boxed hair dye for years (dark brown) I also had red in my hair, my hair is long and applied it when my hair was slightly greasy and left it on for 1 hour.I could see the results even when washing my hair and I was wow. It’s stripped all the boxed hair dye out even the red and put me back to my natural chestnut brown. Highly recommend this product

The media could not be loaded. I have had many many years of changing hair colours, mostly from black to something bright that required a fresh blonde slate. I’m naturally a black haired girly, however I covered a previous colour with a black box dye with the intention of staying natural. That didn’t last because I simply can’t help myself. I didn’t want to have multiple bleaching and ruin my hairs good condition after months of work. I saturated all my hair with on box of this stuff, left it for and hour with cling film my head, and it done all the work for me without any damage whatsoever!! I absolutely recommend this!!! All it then took was on short bleach to the roots and slightly down the length and now I’m back to my favourite red!!! Absolutely worth every penny!!!

Only given 4 stars and the reason is the delivery was late received 2days later and I had no email to say it was late and when it would be delivered. I’ve tried other hair strippers and they didn’t work this is the only one that has removed a lot of my bright red hair dye. It changed it to orange and I reordered more as just need a little more of the red/orange removed. I would recommend this stripper it does work well. The delivery was late with this 2nd one I ordered also. But this is no fault of the seller this is due to Royal Mail keep going on strike.

I’ve read a few reviews whereby this colour stripper hasn’t worked on their hair, being an ex colourist at a hair salon it is well known that unless you are prepared to rinse this colour correction will not work.Personally I timed the myself for 7 minutes the first initial rinse, after shampooing ensure you rinse for the recommended time. Unless you do this the hair follicle won’t open allowing the colour to vacate

However this could be of use if you like to get rid of your other half and children for a few hours.

i got this trying to remove black hair dye, first off it didn’t even remove half the black and second it has literally turnt my hair bright orange. not just the roots there is patches all over of bright. orange.

I had a disastrous colour in the hairdressers. Colour was a lot darker than I was expecting making regrowth necessary every month. First time I’ve ever had a salon colour and never again! I usually buy 2 boxes of colour for home use so bought this double pack. Goes a long way and could have managed with one box. Loved the fact that you could colour strip and apply new colour straight away. All the horrible brown was gone and a goldish colour remained. We applied usual light blonde colour straight away and perfect even result in a very light blonde. All in all the result was such a relief and pretty unbelievable considering the cost. One box of the colour stripper and 2 boxes of colour for under £20. Can’t recommend highly enough.
