When the disc drive on my original Wii started to go, I upgraded to the Wii U. Unfortunately, it didn't occur to me that I'd no longer be able to use my GameCube controller. The first thing I tried was a Wii Classic Controller Pro, but I didn't like the stick placement. Then I tried a Mayflash GameCube converter. It worked for some games, like Sonic Colors, but not for others. Finally, I stumbled onto this product. This converter assigns the inputs to where they are on an actual Wii controller instead of the A to A approach the Mayflash used. Xbox B button is A etc.My biggest complaint is that it doesn't seem to work with every game that can use a classic controller. It worked flawlessly for Sonic Unleashed, but wouldn't work at all with NiGHTS: Journey of Dreams or Super Mario 64.My other nitpick, is that when you're using it as a Classic Controller, there's no vibration/rumble function. Most likely this is because the classic controller doesn't have the rumble feature either. Still disappointing.It does have rumble when it's being used as a Wii U Pro controller. I used it to play Super Mario 3D World, and the rumble worked perfectly.I received the Switch edition of this converter, so in order to use it with Wii games, you'll need to download the XBOX 360/XBOX ONE to Wii U Classic Edition firmware from the brookaccessory website.You can find it in the Wii U download section. Just plug your converter into your PC, run the classic edition firmware, it will ask if you want to update your controller options, check the box, and you're good to go.Overall, I'm glad I bought this little device. It didn't work for all my games, but it worked for the ones that needed it most.

The newest firmware for the device worked perfectly with my Xbox 360 SF4 Madcatz Fightstick. Just follow the initial setup instructions and it will work flawlessly henceforth. Two thumbs up. Saved lots of money from having to buy a new fight stick for my Nintendo Switch.

Works for Switch, but always make sure to fully reboot your switch every time you disconnect the controller, as sometimes input lag becomes a problem.
