Really works!
We have an outdoor driveway-tiled area near a water faucet that our grandkids use after the beach to rinse off. It is slippery and they fall often. I treated it with this product and all the slippery went away. I am so pleased! I applied it directly to the tile and used a brush to really get it on there evenly. I will say where I hosed it off from the tile onto the sidewalk area it discolored it ever so slightly and not evenly, but I am not concerned with that. It did well on the tile and it is a uniform difference. It does take the sheen out of your tile, and I think that’s the point. It is just not slippery anymore. It worked! I get the feeling it will last the rest of the summer easily. I might redo it at the beginning of summer next year, and may think twice about how I rinse it off onto the sidewalk area. But I am quite pleased with how it is now.

Buyer beware
We applied this product on our ceramic floor in order to prevent our 13 year old yellow/golden lab from slipping. The product worked BUT it left a residue in spots throughout the floor that was both unsightly and attracted dirt.To the best of our ability, we applied according to instructions. We did contact the manufacturer but their solution was not successful. Our problem cannot be isolated so I would hope they had a guaranteed solution in their FAQ section. We then contacted a floor cleaning company and they demonstrated how they could clean the floor (on one tile). That was successful BUT their estimate was $1,600 to clean the entire floor (approx. 1,400 sq. ft.).

Just what the (Slip) Doctor ordered!
This product is fantastic. I had great success on my porcelain bathtub, my shower tiles and the tiles on our back patio (see pics).Application does take some work (make sure treated area is clean) but certainly not difficult or laborious. I used a small spray bottle to apply the product on my tub and surface and on my shower tiles. I used a 1/2 gallon pump sprayer for the application on my patio tiles.Rinsed each application with a baking soda/water mixture per the instructions and I am extremely please with the results.Bathtub is no longer slippery and requires no ugly, mold attracting tub mat.Shower tiles have a perfect amount of friction- no slipping here.Patio tiles were my biggest concern as they were extremely slippering when walking on them after exiting the pool. That problem has been eliminated with this product.Follow the very clear directions and you should have great success.

Works great until it peels
It works great, I am sure we have done something wrong to make it peel up. Maybe wrong cleaner.... but for is not slippery anymore!Update:Followed instructions and still peels horribly, makes the biggest mess in my business. Had to replace other carpets that the peeling pieces ruined. It's a bummer, there is no other real competition on the market

Didn't work for me, but vendor refunded
UPDATE:Turns out this product does NOT WORK on SEALED or PAINTED surfaces (like many pool decks). So double-check before ordering! That said, the vendor reached out to me and REFUNDED the full purchase price! 5 Stars for service.Original Review:We used this on our sealed pool deck which is dangerously slippery when wet. It did nothing, nothing at all, to improve the surface. After following the instructions TWICE on the same area, there was zero difference in slip resistance.

Ok, but laborous to apply
We live in the Phoenix area and bought a house with a pool. Unfortunately, the previous owners tiled the back patio - only feet from the pool, with ceramic tile; a bad combo with young children. I applied this and so far so good. This is how I applied it: First, I scrubbed the tile with water and a scrub brush (no soap/detergent), dried it with towels and then sealed all the cracks with outdoor silicon. Then, I put some solution (undiluted) in a $1 spray bottle. After the tile and silicon were completely dry, I generously sprayed each tile and then worked the solution into all the crevices with a scrub brush (I did about eight 12-inch tiles at a time) I sprayed and brushed a total of 30-34 tiles before letting the "batch" sit for 15 minutes and then sprayed the solution off with the hose. By the time I hosed it off, some of the solution had completely dried and some hadn't. Either way, it seems to work. Doing more than 30 or so tiles makes the drying time longer than recommended. Once the tile is dry after being rinsed off, its ready to go. We've all "tried" to slip on it and it does grip. 1/3 of the bottle covered about 180 SF. You really can't tell by looking at the tile that it has a coating on it but to a more skeptical eye, it probably isn't as shiny. I will be watching it closely this season to see how it does in the AZ heat/sun (though this patio is mostly shaded), and how well it works after a dust storm (I suspect I will need to hose the dust off to keep it from getting slippery). Of note, I emailed the company before ordering to ask about how it worked in the heat and never got a reply. I did, however, call the company after receiving the bottle - which looked old, was a different looking bottle/label and was badly scratched up, and asked to verify how to apply it and they were very courteous. So far, I will give this a 5. It comes with a 5 year guarantee. So, if you are like me...either coat your existing tile or pull up and lay new tile, I'd say give this a try.UPDATE, June 1, 2015: I purchased this 2 years ago and have since decided to forgo the labor of cleaning the tile and doing the hands and knees work of spraying spreading this on the tile section by section, which took me about 3 hours for an 8x22 ft. patio. The effects only lasted for a year and the container at the time I purchased this was, I think, about half the price that it is now. Even though we all "tried" to slip on it, I found that, if you are drenched and walk on it, you can still slip so I was always tentative about friends coming over to play in the pool. For the same price ($75), I ran to Home Depot and purchased some outdoor carpeting. No slipping at all now and I am greatly relieved.

It works!!
I was so skeptical that this product would solve my very slippery when wet porcelain tiles that make up my front patio but they really worked. I am also very skeptical of reviews but I assure you all I say is true and I am only writing one of my rare reviews because I am so impressed.

Didn't work and discolored grout
This product did not work for my tiles even after two treatments. It did, however, discolor my grout to a lovely shade of neon. Now I've got slippery tiles and a grouting project to do. Disappointing at best.
