The Moment You Were Born: A Story for You and Your Premature Baby Hardcover – Picture Book, October 12, 2015

Our son was in the NICU for several months and even the staff commented how beautifully written and illustrated the book is. It showcases families of diverse backgrounds and is very realistic in showing the tubes and cords you see in the hospital.We had all of the doctors and nurses sign the book, sort of like a yearbook, when he was discharged so we'd have their well wishes to read to him down the road.

MUST HAVE! It’s so beautiful! I read it to my NICU baby all the time. I cry every time. I wish every NICU parent owned this book. BUY IT! Definitely worth it. I wish you and your NICU baby/babies best of luck!❤️

wife bought this for her friend who recently gave birth to a micro premie and it’s was very therapeutic for her and a great way to bing with baby as she reads to him. It will work out great for baby to understand his challenges as he grows as well.

I got this as a gift for my cousin whose baby is currently in the NICU. I was lost at what to get her to show her my love and support. A book seemed so minimal--but she said it was the perfect gift. I would recommend this to anyone who may be experiencing their child in the NICU.

My sweetheart is a preemie and had to spend time in the nicu, I love this book but I couldn’t get through it without crying. I’ll get through it eventually and I’m grateful for it.

Thought I was getting a new book, it was used. There was a message written on the first page of the book. Otherwise, we loved the story!! Definitely recommend, but annoyed that it was used and has something for anything child written in it.

This was such a lovely book brought at an incredibly stressful time. We read this to our baby who was in NICU ward for over a month as was v. Premature. I liked that it included tips and helpful info at the back for parents and guardians too. I loved this book so much i recommended it to the ward play specialist to add to their small library they hold for parents and families to use. Good quality paper, illustrations were great, artistic and colourful all throughout snd a strong but simple and easy to read book. Also we liked that it was multiculturally representive in the illustrations too.

Excellent story, really amazing illustrations! We were really happy with this purchase. We had all of the nurses, respiratory therapists, and doctors in the NICU to sign our sons book while he is in the NICU.
