Yes, once paired, the P3 button can turn on the system, functioning all the same as the original controller.

Is there a deadzone for these controllers? Obviously I've read the product description for no deadzone, but reviews say otherwise.

My brother in law says no and he has been using his and he has no problems with them at all.

I was unable to find any warranty information on the controllers, but I did find OKHAHA Brand did have displayed in the item’s description page that they offer 3 month refund/return. Hope this help. I myself have till January 31st to return or refund with Amazon. I have not had any issues with the controllers so far, and no plans on returning mine. Again hope this helps you out.
