Bright lights
I got these to replace my burnt out bulbs in my living room. My first impression is that the lights are light weight and bright. The popped into my existing light cans easily and without issue. The color switch on the back is great. No need to guess what color mine are. The plastic material on the housing isn’t that thick but it seems quality made. The size matched my existing ones nicely. It’s a great value for the money compared to the big box stores that want 2-3 times this amount. My only complaint is that the housings took some playing with to get them to sit flat against the ceiling. It still left a tiny gap between the light and ceiling. Overall I’d definitely buy these again. Pros Easy to install Easy to adjust Bright Well made Comes Cons Have to adjust them a bit to get them to sit flush with the ceiling

Easy to install and very bright
These made my kitchen so much brighter. Now I have to clean more haha My cans are 4 inch. I had to adjust the clips to get them to actually hold in the cans. Some of the drywall had been cut larger than the cans so I will have to do some mudding to hid that as the light isn't quite large enough to cover much more than the can itself. Other than that they are really nice and bright. I like the different lighting options as well

Super EASY!
I've done a lot of remodeling, and if you have recessed cans up in the ceiling and you don't want to pull them out, these lights are perfect. They are super easy to install and they work at much lower temperatures than the old school incandescent bulbs!

Don't expect typical LED longevity
These lights are easy to install, look good, work well....but not for what one expects in the life of an LED. I've replaced 8 of these over the course of 4 years of sub-average duty. I need to replace more and won't buy this brand again. I've got to believe the Chinese know how to build a light bulb by now and these are clearly not their best effort. If they want to replace them, I'd accept the offer and give them a second chance on their dime. Until then, I strongly urge buyers to look elsewhere. Update: After writing to the company and receiving a very quick response, I can say Sunco stands behind their warranty (7 years) and is offering to replace the inoperable lights at no cost to me. Maybe initially I received a bad lot as these things do happen. With these replacements I hope to get the service I had originally expected. I'm impressed by Sunco's CS and willingness to make it right. As I said in my first post, these lights check all the boxes of form and function and now knowing they stand behind their products, I'm upgrading my rating to 4 stars.

2nd purchase
I recently bought the Sunco 12 Pack 6-Inch LED Recessed Lights, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. The brightness is just right — not harsh, but plenty of light to make each room feel open and inviting. The dimmable feature works beautifully! I can adjust the lighting for movie nights or brighten it up when I’m cleaning or working. The transition is smooth with no flicker or delay, which I really appreciate. Installation was simple, and the air flow design seems to keep the lights cool even after being on for a while. You can tell they’re made with good quality materials — nothing feels cheap or flimsy. Overall, I’m super satisfied. The lights look great, perform great, and have totally changed the feel of my space. Definitely worth the purchase!

A No-Brainer
I upgraded 24 6" can lights with these. The old bulb setup has bugged me since we moved into the house almost 4 years ago, with their old / discolored trim pieces and bulbs that never actually sat perpendicular to the ceiling and looked a bit wonky. Found these online and thought for the amazing price and strong reviews, it's gotta be an upgrade. And it sure is. The look is so much cleaner. Most of our ceilings have no texture, and they sit perfectly flush on those. Our kitchen has a light texture and so doesn't look PERFECT but I'm just nitpicking at the obvious and it's 1000% better than the old bulb setup regardless. I've seen a couple comments about people having a couple lights DOA, but all 24 of mine are good. I have these across 4 areas, three each with a Lutron Sunnata dimmer and one single bulb on a switch. One room/dimmer has 9 fixtures, and I have zero issues with dimming or flicker. I had to reset the low end of the dim range on each Sunnata dimmer but that's easy, just search online for the manual. Installation was a snap once I figured it out; the instructions could have better depicted where the springs needed to go. I found a video, just search "sunco can replacement installation video" and you'll have your pick. Once I watched the video, I would say it was less than 2 minutes to replace each one. For reference, I used the E26 base adapters. Super convenient. A DIY novice could handle this (with the support of the video instructions as the paper instructions aren't great). With the 24 cans I upgraded, I came across 3 different types of can and had no issues with any. One had four "ears" that I had to bend out with a screwdriver in order to trap the springs. A few had two full C-shaped ears that were already in position. The majority of the cans had what I'll call nostrils that the springs slipped into. I don't foresee issues with holding power on any of the can types I dealt with, but the nostril ones are STRONG. Like, in the event I need to pull them down I'm going to need to figure out how to pry them off the ceiling far enough to get my fingers in there without marking up the ceiling. Two additional benefits I wasn't expecting: 1) The old LED bulbs I had in the cans had a low buzz to them. These do not. 2) As I was changing these over, I realized that since most of our cans protrude up into the attic space, I was probably losing some heat from the house in winter with drafts going around the bulbs and up through the cans into the attic. No more with these! Probably a negligible difference but I'll take it.
